Daravel Caldari Ore Mongers SMASH Alliance	Posted - 2007.01.03 13:34:00 - [1] So, another year has gone and although I was only around for half of it (EVE terms) I still think we should celebrate the achievements of our fellow pilots. So Tecron Enterprises brings to you, the EVE awards - (Had a look around, can't see anyone else doing it.) Simply put, categories covering all aspects of EVE play, you vote for your favourite for each (You dont have to have a vote in EVERY category if you don't want to)and the person/thing/event/thread with the most votes wins. Post your nominations in this thread in a clear manner, or EVEmail me if you wish to keep them secret. Please do not post inane comments in the thread, the only replies I really want to see are: Nominations, ideas for new categories (much welcomed.) Criteria for deciding who wins, is up to you, read the question and decide who you think fits the bill. Also, if your nomination is a little obscure and people may not know about it then post a little reason for the nomination or a link to information Depending on the support for the idea, I would like to start a little prize fund, to be split between all the winners - if you like, donate an amount of isk by sending it to this character. If I update the list of categories, the title will be changed to "EVE awards 2006 Update:1", "update:2", "update:3" and so on. So check back to see if there have been new categories. On that note, if you change your nominations, please just edit your post This is to celebrate the players, therefore nominating DEV's or content (i.e: revelations as the biggest***-up, etc...) is not only smart arse, it is also going to be ignored. So, to the categories: EVE - The Game Most notorious pirate? Most sucessful corpoation? Most sucessful Alliance? Best newcomer? (Corporation or Alliance) Greatest moment? Funniest moment? Biggest screw-up? Most famous player? Player you would most like to meet? why? EVE - The community** Most famous forumer? Most sucessful thread? Most useless thread? Most informative/usefull thread? Best scam? Speaks the most rubbish? Most usefull website/resource? Greatest forum moment? Funniest forum moment? Outstanding contribution to the community? Thats all at the moment, post any suggestions you have, and remeber to keep the thread tidy. I expect to keep this open for 2 weeks or so - depending on support. Smagd, you made a game feature as a nomination, and you are welcome to change it. This stops any whines from developing in the thread and because we are looking at what players have done/achieved in the past year. Also, I might look to do a little write up of each winner, whether its a person or event or such.
