rohk= 8 electron II, 20km optimal, 1200mps movment, 25,000hp 80% passive sheild tank, enough dps to break any tank.
is it just me or is this ship extremly overpowerd at solo all you need is a med slot passive tank low slots free for speed mods and damage mods.. ---

but of course it was the maelstrom and not the rohk that got the crappy speed and agility, etc.
rohk i think needs to have some mass added and such.

The speed seems to be the result of the"omg caldari heavy mass slow as smell)whines.
And it also seems to be overlooked due to the drake whines.

No way can a Rokh be passive tanked effectively and have any sort of tackling/webbing ability. Obviously not needed if you're sniping, but for a blaster setup.
3xccc rigs and an active setup is far better.

Wrong... scramblers on bs can be handy, using long range guns in short range fights is risky as well...
Yes blasterrokh is an option, but you need neutrons, not electrons and damage is far from THAT impressive. -------- The BoB model is bad for business. Incidently the BoB model is more suited for a game such as WoW where as the ASCN model more suited for Eve.

Still, having a tackler with you produces better results enabling you to perform better. A web is usually more effective, as it reduces speed and transvectral reducing lost dps. Or some EW modules. They usually give a nice advantage in a fight. And yes, you are right, using long range guns in a short range fight is bringing a knife to a gun fight. Not really wise either. ___ P.S. If you would read the part i quoted and replied to you would notice that his setup mentions being good at solo work. Now i dont know about you but i use scramblers and webs when i go out solo, even on a BS.
And a web and scrambler dont mean your in a tackling ship, it just means you can hold down more people even if you have a tackler with you. Thats why i personally dont like the blaster rokh in small gangs that much. Its all fine and dandy saying im a BS and tackling isnt my role, but if i need to be within 20km anyway to do any real damage i just might aswell fit a scrambler to make sure people remain in the company of our gang, cause you know, tacklers tend to die and stuff.

I would love to see how you came up with a 20km optimal range...
4.8km base x 1.25 (sharpshooter) x 1.5 (ship bonus) x 1.25 (Null bonus) = 11.25km.
Perhaps you could further enlighten us on the 80% resistances, passive shield tank bit i.e. mid-slot configuration?... ----------

Now how is that for a bullsh*t post, try to fit the ship like that before you whine. Im willing to bet that your fantasy fit wont work out to well once you try it ingame. Or perhaps your Rokh has 10 midslots and MWD:s that go into low slots?

You can do it with tech 1 ammo and multipule optimal enhancing rigs[20%, 20%, 15% = 1.2 x 1.174x1.08= 1.52 above your number and changing out to a 50% bonus ammo gets you another 1.2 for a total of 82% more range than you get there, or 20.5km]. But then you are doing less damage and have 3 rig slots filled.

... why do you want to make Maelstrom even slower, heavier and more sluggish she already is, and give Caldari even more boost? O.o

In all honesty if people are going to load iron ammo and stack multiple rigs and/or modules on ship with no turret bonus just to prove "see you can shoot *that* far with blasters... zOMG, nerf!" then it's rather ridiculous. You know why?
Because you will outdamage, outrange and out-track such neutron blaster Rokh with one that simply equips full rack of medium 250mm rails and loads them with antimatter.
oh and you get to keep full grid to play with this way. But sure, 20 km blaster Rokh pwns, nerf it.
