Just wondering if the rigs that affect the booster cap usage stack with each other or if they're like any other cap rig that just removes the 10/15%. ---

Are you talking about this? Core Defence Operational Solidifier I
This ship modification is designed to reduce the duration of shield booster cycles at the expense of increased signature radius.

From what I've seen, yes they do stack.

...and they work better with cap booster charges or energy transferes from other ships (a support ship, or nosses), ie any source of energy that isnt ones recharge.

so only when using like 3 shield boosters at once while support ships are supporting you, which is rare if ever. even with just cap booster charges, both the booster cap and cap recharge are both cap efficiency and can be calculated and compared to each other. I'd think it would take multiple boosters before the booster cap beats a cap recharge

If you have other mods that are cap intensive *such as guns* its better to use the cap rigs, but yes they do lower the %effectivness of cap adding items *nos, trainsfer, ect.* now, if you where in say. . . a raven, you dont really have any other mods, then go for the shield cap and something else. its cheaper and has higher eff with cap returning mods. _________________ Live long a prosper many times. . .a good sig pending >_> |
