once your into armour ect your pretty screwed anyway, i'd fit a DCU2 instead of a MAR2 for more align time

The whole point is to not be hit, the mar is simply for missles and other unexpected damage.

With those 3 dampners is the plan to shorten the lock range on the ship so it cant lock you or to make the lock time really high? With those 3 on what is the average lock range of a bs and can you out run missiles with it? Can you tank the drones people send at you?

3 t2 dampeners with lvl 4 in the spec skill will reduce a ships targetting range (and speed) to 13.7% of original. This will reduce a raven with long range targeting 4 and 1 SB2 to just under 20k targetting range.
In short: with a faction scrambler you can disable every single BS as long as it has not 2 SB2.
Drones can be avoided by speedtank. With 2 MWD speed rigs the curse will have orbiting speeds of around 2800 m/s - heavy drones cannot catch it and of meds only valks can. Which won't deal any significant damage to it due to it's resistance.

if you get hit atall with that fit you are dead so try an overdrive in the last low slot... with high skills and such you should get around 3300mps ---

Is the td really usefull? If your going to orbit with MWD on your have the sig of a small moon anyways, so I doubt a td will help. Why not a Shield Extender II?

Personally I would use a LSE2 instead the TD as well and scrap the MAR2 for another nano (or overdrive). Allows to use 4 med nos2, too.

with a xtra local hull nano fibre and decent navigation skills u should get speeds of over 3.5kms.
al find and dandy if you keep two medium dim nossies going so you can pick off your targets drones etc.
coz if you run out of cap with aminnie gun ship your so dead! Your gonna have to pick off all drones 1ST! and hope he dont have a cap injector.
could be great fun as a way to ransom ships of pilots who think they cant beat you. -

A small moon orbitting you at mach 10. Most ships can't track a decent nanocurse pilot, but adding even a single tracking disruptor (Which the Curse gets a bonus to) will make sure only a handful of turrets can hit you.

Anyone considered putting 3 Heavy Missle Launchers in the high slots with 2 NOS? Just wondering if that's viable. Would help deal out some more damage instead of just drones.

I am Raven Pliot and also i fly curse. with my SD skills i use 4 damps and TS scrambler (28km) but if raven use fof cruise . curse will be dead

You didn't understand the point of this thread. 4 damps = fairly pointless, fit MWD instead of damps and nanos in lows.
Then if (ship = "Raven") damage = 0, capiche?

u mean the cruse doing 3+ km/s will out run the FOF cruise missile? i hit a vagabond doing 8km/s at 200km way from me . i know the damage is = almost nothing but that was 8km/s vag!! as for 4 dampers cos only with that i can get 13.7% damping on the other ship ( cos my skills )

You are really confused.
At 3-4km/s fof cruise will do 0-10 damage, depending on skills, plus your drones are on him, so most likely the fof will just hit a random drone every now and then.
Sensor dampeners, even without skills, work quite well. Also, they are stacking penalized. Don't remember the exact formula, but best named damp gives 48% penalty to lockrange + scanres without any skills. 3 of those will nerf most battleship's targeting range below 20km (unless they have multiple sensor boosters).
I am not sure what the missile flight speed is, is it above 8km/s? Especially with bad skills.... meh....
And missiles "always" hit, if you hit a curse or a vagabond for 0.0 damage all the time, they are not going to die, you know right?

here is my new fittings
3 Tech2 Nos and 2 Neutralizes 1 MDW 1 SB tech2 3 Damper tech2 1 WS (i don't have much power Grid left) 1 small rap and 2 beta nano and 1 reaction control.
with this fitting can do 1.85 km /s and damping the BS into 13.7% of its targeting range also out run Medium Scout Drone even the tech 2 ones. but i think i will have problem with light drones . cos i only got 1 small rap.and i am not tanked at all. if there is way to get speed up to 3.5km /s may be i can out run the light drones. also by doing that i may loss one of the hight slot ( Neutralizes ) but that will greatly slow up on the kills

my nanocurse setup:
5x med dim
MWD, 20km, TD, sensor booster, med shield booster II, LSE II
PDU II, local inertia, 2x local nano
7x hammerhead II
have an EM rig fitted atm
The EW part on the curse is overrated the nos/drone/nano combi has it all. I just orbit something, put 5 nos on it, a TD, orbit with mwd on @ 25km (domi disruptor ftw) and it'll go down eventually. The other day i went up against a tempest a rokh and a zealot. I switched the sensor booster to another TD, warped in, orbit zealot @ 25km, TD on tempest and rokh, pwned zealot, warped off, shields @ 100%. Sensor dampeners on this ship are only good if you have 0,0 tank and a faction disruptor cuz if you put 2 muons on an enyo he'll have a locking range of about 17km and that's just a fecking AF

I've got only one issue with a nano-curse as I tried it out recently.
Against multiple targets your drones will die.
Your going too fast for them to return to your ship lol. If your using 3 damps you can just pull the drones out of their lock range and send them back again but for the setups on here not using damps I dont see how theyre going to live. Especially against a caldari ship, Curse without Damps is ghey they can lock and kill your drones too quickly.
