Hi all,
When our corp would cast voting on certain issues, will former corpmembers whom still have shares see the voting topic and or be able to vote too? Or are their votes obsolete once they left the corp and didnt return their shares?
Thx for the info/feedback :)

Anyone with shares can vote, whether they are in the corp or not. Be careful with who you give shares to if you don't like this possibility, or use an out of game "virtual share" system where you keep a list of names and share numbers. There's more work involved in paying dividends and you can't use the in-game vote system if you do that but it's secure.

Edited by: Manoxtra on 07/01/2007 12:09:10 So in other words, when we should do a voting on locking down certain bpo's, former corpmembers can see what bpo's we have? Is there another way to lock down bpo's?
And why we did gave out some shares was because we can now take over the corp with voting if CEO stops playing or does stuff we dont like... an experience we already had in our former corp...
Thx again :)

It depends entirely on what you're doing. If your corp, for example, run an investment programme where everyone chips in, you buy bpos and build stuff then issue the profit back to shareholders, it's a good idea to use shares. Why should someone who leaves the corp not retain their investment?
What most people do is only issue out 49% or less of shares and leave the rest in the corp share wallet. That way directors with access to the corp shares can override any vote with a 51% or more share majority by using the corp shares.
