Hello,
finally decided to bring it here. While i'm out of pvp for some sort of vacation if you like i decided to run missions. Now i'm 1 step to lvl3 and was thinking what ship to stick with. My Confessor was doing absolutely well but i'm sure that lvl3 would be not an easy task for it. And since i'd like to taste something new... here what i come up with
please don't blame to hard since it's just a potential set up with i may try anyway but i want to check with pilots if anyone had already did that.
This toon is pure Amarr specialist and can't fly anything other than Amarr, so please take that in mind if you'd like to recommend something else.

I see where you come from, no it's not. But only with Cov Ops subs it gives you enough med slots, and i just put a cloack in high probably without a reason. |

The tank is total overkill for level 3s. The covert sub gimps your DPS.
Do you not have armor skills?
Why not use a HAC?
Confessor will work fine for level 3s.

thx for sharing your thoughts on my question
i was using beams thinking about more alpha and taking down npc's from greater range. Your setup is def outperforming in regard of dps and i might consider this flying with scorches.
the whole idea is to make something non-standard )) i still was thinking about my old shield harby to run those lvl3's |

It also depends a lot on what rats you are shooting at. Against Angels, shield tanked Legion with HAMs is an option no matter how lol that sounds on paper (natural resit vs. explosives n being able to shoot explosive dmg). However, I wouldn't say it's much better than Sacrilege with similar shield or armor setup, 'cause Sac gets drones which come handy vs. frigs.
Having said that, If you want to shield tank and shoot lasers in lvl 3, normally I would recommend looking at Phantasm. It is definitely something different you seem to be looking for and a very cool ship to look at/fly in. |

imo confessor is a bit too low on dps/projection to make for happy level 3 running.
this is what I'd try, most lv3s are just warp in and blap stuff as fast as you can. tank is probably more important for a newb, but pumping out 700 dps out to 30km tank isn't really needed in lv3s. and you can hit out at 100km with aurora.
if you are worried about cap life swap a tracking comp for a cap injector. I tried a proteus for blitzing and it had pretty bad cap but never really needed more. npcs die way too fast to be a worry. [Harbi for lvl 3's] i decided to stick to my old harbi fit instead, hope it still fine to run those taking into the mind the latest CB changes. this i sis about 80m isk and making around 700 dps which is more than enough for lvl3's.
