Orchist	Posted - 2007.01.08 02:00:00 - [1] Hello all. I and a few of my friends are pretty new to Eve, but not to gaming. We're older mature players (late 20's to mid 30's) and have been working on learning our way around eve for a bit now. We are between the 1-2 mil learning mark, but realize we've only begun to scratch the surface in this game and are at the point that we think it's time to join a Corp. We're U.S. players (with a few Euro friends that may join us soon) We're self sufficient (not looking for a free ride anywhere) and are looking for a corp we can contribute to and in return can help teach us the game. We're open to PVP, mining and other aspects of the game. We've been leaders together in other MMOs for years (with a heavy pvp background), but aren't interested in starting our own Corp here. What we're looking for in a Corp: 1. Stability. A corp that is established (with older players) with good leadership which has been in existence for a while. We're not looking to join a start up Corp really. 2. An active website. It's hard to be organized without a good active website. 3. Use of voice comms. (Teamspeak or Ventrilo) Typing all the time sucks. Especially when you have fat fingers....lol. Thanks in advance for your time. -Orchist

Ascent of Ages operates out of 0.0 space and is part of the R I S E alliance. Ascent of Ages generally has 15-20 members online during peak playtimes. We are looking to expand our ranks with players who wish to PvP, are very active in Eve Online, and wish to spend almost all their online time in 0.0 space. We have spots for both new and old players. Our older more experienced members are extremely supportive of those who are less experienced in 0.0 space which is something we basically expect of our more experienced members. We are a PvP orientated corporation, but the same as any military organization we need industrial support to keep our combat fleet fully operational. All of our members are required to head the call of PvP when our assets are attacked or threatened, as we must fight for what we own if we wish to keep it. There are always PvP operations to join be it with our alliance or our corporation. We have plenty of enemies who wish to bring us to ruin. This translates into a target rich environment on the outskirts and boarders of our region on a regular basis. It is an unending source of fun and excitement for any PvPer out there. These targets consist of some of the best PvP alliances in the game, and I like to think that you are only as good as your opponents. R I S E operates on a NBSI (Not Blue Shoot It) policy. It keeps things simple and you can kill anyone who enters our region that is not blue without any concern what-so-ever. Ascent of Ages and R I S E are located in one of the richest regions in Eve. There is more wealth available where we reside be it from mining or ratting than most other regions in the game. It is all there just waiting to be turned into cold hard ISK if one is willing to put forth the required time and needed effort. Most of our members are around 30 years old, give or take a few, and we have a good and active website and forums as well. Structured as a multigame guild with members from all over the world, we also do our utmost to make sure that members fit well within our member philosophy... meaning.. down to earth, mature by behaviour, none-arrogant and friendly. We acknowledge that people have a wide area of cultural differences, and also appreciate that people have a real-life with jobs, kids, family and more.. that always should recieve priority number 1. By that we mean that we dont enforce people to play a certain amount of hours a week or a day or anything of the sort.
