Wow, corp hangar raided and all assets blown up for no apparent reason. This truly is a horrifying turn of events. I sympathize.

One question for all the people expecting the GMs to "do whats right".... all of this is predicated on IP logging or something like that. Im no expert by any means, but it seems to me, that just because I log on to my account from a different location doesnt mean my account was hacked. Im planing on doing just this when i take a 3 week vacation in the States....What happens if CCP shows that it was just one or two login attempts from a different location than normal? Does this really mean hacking occured?

"...KIAGumpys account, one of our production/refining accounts used by me and the directors only. This account had access to all 7 Corp hangars."

Errm, isnt it explicitly forbidden to share accounts for exactly this reason? Technically the KIA guys are in violation of their EULAs.... I dont know what affect that would/should have on the GMs. Maybe there is a lesson here?

All around this is a terrible turn of events. I hope things do work out for you though so you can keep on doin it for the ladeez.... good luck

Dood your an idiot. If it shows that each account has a specific ip address in which they were logged onto then KIA could give ccp their ip addresses then match them against the one used to do this "heinous" deed.

However the person if smarter than the average dumbass 16 year old learning to use a port scanner may have used a proxy which then will be very, very hard to pinpoint who did it. Specially if it was done at a University tech lab or someones workplace. Most have hardware firewalls that wont even allow you to ping them. So Othnark shut up and save grace m8.
