Thanks for fixing the report of the motd obscuring the play button and having no [x] box.
I found one case where the current launcher reports an incorrect error:
If you quit the client and then use the launcher to immediately relaunch it you get an error to use the repair tool because your client is corrupted. It ends up the client is not corrupted and the actual error should be "you are relaunching too quickly" (or just delay and have no error). If you wait a bit - and then try to re-launch the client it works fine. So, there's some part of the shutdown/relaunch process that causes the launcher to incorrectly think the client software is corrupted. |

I use Eve on a laptop in fullscreen mode for performance reasons. I switch between sessions with alt-tab. Now that the launcher makes it easier to be on both Tq and Singularity using the same account and character I find myself using the test server more often.
Right now the window names shown in alt-tab for Sisi and Tq are the same (EVE - CharacterName). To make it easier using alt-tab to select the window for a specific test server, could you add the server name to the window title please?

I got a new laptop, and the default and preferred screen resolution is 3200x1800.
The installer window does not size the same way as on my other lower resolution machines. I had used the launcher installer before so I knew what to do, but a new player with this resolution might have problems operating the installer.

When installed the text is so small the launcher is hard to operate. Could the new launcher be enhanced with a setting that automatically or manually via a setting makes everything 2x or 3x bigger on 3200x1800 displays?
Here's what it looks like now:

Other web applications like the forums, and Microsoft apps like control panels automatically scale enough that you can read the text.

Every time I wake my laptop from sleep, the launcher gives an error. Isn't there an API the launcher could call so that it realizes the computer is waking from sleep, wait for the network to come up, and then only present an error if the network fails to come up?
The workaround is to wait for the network and press the [retry] button or quit the launcher and reopen it. |
