With expanders I can get the cargo hold to about 9000 or so.
Anyone have any advice for me? I want a high cost trade good with low cargo space, probably. The origional "hate monger" |

Edited by: Shadarle on 12/01/2007 20:08:45 Wow... a whole 9000 cargo space? Amazing. You could haul like... next to nothing with that!
On a slightly more serious note. Do you really expect people to tell you a good trade good/route? If they know of one they would use it themselves... figure it out yourself if you want to make any decent money, no one here is gonna give a good secret to you.

The successful trader leaves many trades behind, so I'll offer a few to the newbie. Small Arms, bought in Sinq Liason for around 100isk, sold in Minmatar space for 900+ isk. Hydrogen batteries bought in Sinq Liason for around 470 and sold almost anywhere else for 560-580. Vitoc bought in Amar space for 8k a unit sold to Any SOE station for ~10k a unit. Confiscated Viral agent bought in Amarr space for 19-30k a unit sold elsewhere for upto 60-80k a unit.
Those four trades should turn you few million into a few billion inside 3 months.

I used to hang out a lot in the Kor-Azor region (set destination to Kor-Azor Prime). There were a lot of decent (npc) trades there, and not a lot of competition for them. Every once in a while I go back to take a look and the trades are still not very farmed. You should get more than 9k of cargohold on that Badger, though.

Hiya,
As stated by other traders, no one will actually provide you a trade route that fit the bill. Part of the fun of trading is finding the route by yourself. A tips: take an excel spreadsheet, pick items that might interest you and insert buy and sell price then divide the profit by the item volume and you will get a profit per m3 so you can better optimise your cargohold. Also take in account volume bought and sold and finally the distance between the buy and sell point.
Good luck and fly safe.

Here's a few good ones:
Antibiotics -- Essence Garbage -- Essence. Tobacco -- Essence to Sinq Laison Oxygen -- Essence. Decent, usually not too overrun. Long Limb Roes -- Placid to Essence. Start in Maut, deliver to Parts. Doesn't refresh often, but the margins are huge. Both are lowsec, so you'll need a scout. VERY good trade route.

Everything except Hydrogen Batteries on that list is illegal somewhere, so watch out.

High cost/low volume. Hmmm... Implants and skill books. I think they have some of the best ISK to m^3 ratios.
Where to buy/sell I leave up to you.

Maybe that's why he was successful for leaving them behind.
