Simply by using the word "pawned" you have hereby rendered your entire post null and void.
Have a nice day.

now lets go to point #5, where I said:
Originally by: Shameless Avenger
5) The only way to ease the supply chain problem is to get into a freighter. This requires yet more training time (pawned in arguments #1 and #2). But even then, you face the cost of the taxes which again, requires more training to ease.
and you replied:
Originally by: Marcathonas
5) I also know PVPers with freighters, pawned as if you were a pawn who went to the pawn shop to pawn his... pawnables. And since "us pvpers" DO have market skills, we can compete. Also, closed market of 0.0 again.
Again, like in many other of your points, you are using the "I know somebody who know somebody" kind of thing. Let me know how many skill points YOU have in market skills and THEN brag about it. Plus, also make a search both in the forums and in you-tube for some visual education about the fate of freighters in 0.0 space.
Then on number 6, I doubt you have more researched T1 BPOs than the average carebearing industrial corp.
AFter that, on point #7, I said:
Originally by: Shameless Avenger
7) Blueprints need to be researched to be effective. This again, requires time. The only way to achieve this in a reasonable time frame is not with ONE industrial alt, but with many of them.
Indicating that you also need a research alt... (which I doubt you have), And you replied:
Originally by: Marcathonas
7) We have other people to research for us/we have the alts/our alts are trained to be industrial and researching zomgosh/0.0 arket of 0.0 again.
Saying that you do have the research alt. But you never admited that it does take time to train, nor showed any knowlowedge about the skills needed, cost of those skills or their rank. This make me believe you don't know what the heck is a research alt or how to make one.
Then on point #8, I said:
Originally by: Shameless Avenger
8) Some will say they just need to buy BPCs. This pawns the self-suficiency/I-don't-need-carebears argument on it's own because: Who do you think provides the BPC?
and you replied:
Originally by: Marcathonas
8) The BPO holders. An alliance isn't going to work without BPOs. As for pirates and the like, industrial alts will have the needed ones.
Again with the "I don't have the Rokh BPO but my alliance does" argument. What are you trying to say? Will your alliance let you borrow the Rokh BPO sometimes? Good luck with that!
Then you close your post with:
Originally by: Marcathonas
Your argument was utter crap. You have no idea what you're talking about, and 0.0 invalidates each and every one of your points by default, whereas lowsec pirates merely invalidate in the terms of "but... you're just wrong".
To that I say, it is YOU who doesn't know anything about manufacturing. And everytime you use hear-say (i know somebody who knows somebody) it is YOU who is talking crap.
After that on another post, you said:
Originally by: Marcathonas No-one said anything about being self-sufficient...
When the self-suficient thing it's clearly stated in my 1st post, point 6, word #5, quoted and bolded here to save you the back-scrolling:
Originally by: Shameless Avenger
6) In order to be self-suficcient, as the argument implies, ...
So, yeah. I fail to see where you defeated my arguments. |

I'm a PVPer. I have a freighter alt, a dedicated market alt, and a max skilled manufacturing and research alt. I use them all simultaneously.

Ok...in responce to the OP this is pretty much rubbish.
A large part of my corp's roster is made up of alts. Hell I'm one of a handfull that doesn't use a second account or have bought a alt of somesort for their single account.

I'm a pvp'er, I'm fairly new and not since 03' so I won't claim to be a good one, but one. I did not have an industrial/carebear alt, I ratted the isk I needed for ships and mods. Ratting bores me to death. Then someone in my corp told me how much he earns pr hour hulk-mining. So I made 2nd char, at 7m SP now approaching Exhumers 5.
Mining > Ratting in terms of isk value, and it's equally boring, so why not ?

Did he just say pawned? And isn't this the same dude who claimed that carriers weren't ever used as cargo ships?

You're missing the point. By like a MILE.
Most PvP'ers have an alternate source of income, either through mining, manufacture, missions or trading. Depending on the situation, they can do this with their main characters, or they can have alts. They do this to support their grief addiction.
Quote: I doubt most pvpiers have 2nd accounts because they often say themselves "I only need one account to be competitive" and "paying 30 bucks a month for a game is insane".
Those that feel comfortable with paying the 30 bucks a month own second accounts. Them being PvP'ers or not has nothing to do with it. Also, you don't need alot of skillpoints to be able to slap Miner II's on an Apoc.
Your argument sort of derails into the nonsensical after that, by the way. ----

I've an ALT. It rats in 0.0 while I PvP.
Great source of income tbh, and you have to pay the most minimal ammount of attention to it. Should easily be able to pay for loads of timecards with ISK from that ALT when I need them.
Tbh, with GTC for ISK sales, I dont know why people dont have an ISK making ALT. You can get your game time for free!

I thing that is 100% not needed are the mission runners who run missions for the sake of running missions. Now THAT is something you can complain about.

Hi all,
To OP: Grats man, you win the best stupid thread award for this week.
Lots of people have alt accounts, its practically an eve past-time(Power of 2?).
My main is a combat character with 6 mill sp in gunnery.
My alt on a 2nd account has exhumers 5, scrap metal 5, PE 5, and is working on carrier(got all but adv spaceship command).
Everyone I play with has multiple accounts, otherwise you end up being a ok at everything great at nothing or great at one thing crap at everything else.
P.S. lol at you.
, Pham Sirge
