I am about to aquire a complete set of high grade slave implants plus akemon to boost my already tricked out absolution.
A few questions come to mind
1. Is absolution still a good ship to take on amarr lvl 4 missions? If not what are your choices? 2. Assuming I have over 80% armor resistances across the board, what 2 rigs would best compliment an anrmor tanker?
Any suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreicated.

Depending on you being able to run 2 reps as it is, either 2 CCC or one (15% armor boost + 15% cycle)
or mix and match the cycle with a CCC or the armor boost with a CCC. --- If i'm posting on the forums, it's mostly cause i'm at work :D

Forgive my ignorance. What is "CCC"?

CCC = Chaos Computer Club but more likely:
Capacitor Control Circuit (one of the energy grid rigs)

2 reps? Never fitted 2 on my absolution, doesn't need it imo, waste of a low slot (I do have a corpum A-type rep, but 1 was good enough even before I bought that).
To answer the op's questions:
1.Yes the absolution is awesome for level 4s (ignore angel missions, obviously), I would prefer to use the Zealot as it's so much faster and smaller (so takes less damage) and the range rocks, but it just can't put out the same damage.
2.I have 2x cap rech rigs on mine, gives 33% bonus to cap rech rate, so I fit either a single cap rech II or a single cap power relay (I used one of each before I got the rigs). Haven't looked into the other rigs much, but from a quick look I'd say that saving a slot with cap rigs seemed the best move.
Use hardeners depending on the mission, getting 80% across the board is usually wasting slots, and still may be weak on some missions. If you're too lazy to change fittings for a mission then you'll miss out on the damage bonus from extra heat sinks! -

I can say, that i dont use my abs for mission's, but some missions have a ****load of DPS incoming. And i hate warping out... so .... i chose to perma hold 2 Med rep II's (as the case on my Ishtar and Astare) --- If i'm posting on the forums, it's mostly cause i'm at work :D
