I'd say that the Cap Recharger II is the only one that isn't just normal supply/demand market fluctuations. Maybe a bit of invention, none from the reseeding of T2 BPOs. Eagle must not be flavor of the month, but it'll go back up as T2 ships are extremely uneconomical to invent. The Cap Recharger II is being invented like crazy (see Dark Shikari's thread on the subject), which is why its price is dropping.
By the way I haven't actually seen CR2s for these low prices you are reporting. Are you guys shopping in the same Jita/Rens as I am?

Siege Missile Launcher II price drop has more to do with the jav torp nerf than the new BPOs.

Vaga rise is because of how hax0r they are with the new i-stabs. WCS got nerfed but i-stabs now more than make up for it.

I read Siege Missile Launcher IIs as Heavy Missile Launcher IIs and was happy for a brief minute.
I think I paid more than 5.5m for my HML IIs that I use now, and I bought them a year ago.

Wtf has happened to the Hvy Pulse II prices? They're more than 4x the price now - they should've seeded a few more of those in the lottery.

there is some truth to that but overall some reseller had a bright idea and bought up all the heavy pulse IIs after revelations and thought hey i might make ****loads of isk. The same happened to tech2 medium autocannons, so much for havin fun flyin a hurricane damn 425mm IIs cost 6.5mil apiece, f that ill just wait for large proj V :)

hac prices have fallen due to the popularity of tier 2 battlecruisers, which seem to be superior to hacs in most cases.

I predicted that more T2 BPO's would actually cause a price increase rather than decrease.
Yes more people will be making them to compete with each other. However the components and moon minerals that are required for T2 production will go up in price due to demand. And that in turn will drive the prices of the T2 Modules higher due to increased cost to build, and people wanting to maintain their profit margins.

ECM Multispectral 2's have tanked. Before they ran about 3.5 mil each now they can be had for 1 mill.

You have succesfuly noticed market changes ... but you're wrong if you take into consideration the cause of this. The cause is simple : some ships due to kali are more used and some are not.
Vagabonds used to be 290mil, but now they're approx 202mil. It's caused by hurricane : almost as better as a vaga and much cheaper. More people rather fly tier 2 bc than vaga.
When it comes to 1400's it's simple. 50% hp boost , lowest dps, lesser demand.
What else ? For example mwd's and nanos (faction ones) cause of nano-fred. That would be all i think.

It will takes a few months for the lottery to actually affect prices. Once everyone gets their BPO's they need to research them, which can take quite a while on the ships especially. Then they need to get into production mode or they need to sell the BPO for lots of ISK. Once the competition starts the prices will slowly start to fall... until someone needs cash badly and slashes prices to sell faster. Then the price in that single item will drop quicker.
It will likely be 2-3 months at least before you see large price drops on T2 items. But you will definitely see them on the higher margin items because the price is driven by limited supply currently, not by cost to produce. A 40 mil item to produce selling for 200 mil is absurd and will definitely not hold that profit margin when the limiting factor, supply, is removed from the equation.

Invuln fields and PDS now have the Maelstrom and Drake looking to fit them, probably mostly Drakes. The one that surprises me a little bit here is the PDS rise, considering named is now nearly as good as tech II in some cases.
BCU's now have the Drake which combined with the previous change to the Typhoon should have increased demand.
Also, seeding more tech II bpo's won't change some simple factors. You still have to wait and hope to win a tech II bpo if you want to produce tech II items, you still rely on a limited pool of resources to build tech II items, and still you have the most important factor in tech II market prices.... greed. Even *if* producers can make enough to fill all demand while maintaining a decent margin and start a price competition, resellers have seen what the market will bear and will be quick to snap up these mods and jack the prices back up to what they know people are willing to pay for them. You can eliminate most of the things that drive the prices for these mods, good luck with that last one. J.A.F.O.

This is due to the nerf of ECM jammers rather than it being linked to any form of T2 lottery dish out. |
