I have to decide very soon, which to train, and i still dont have a clear choise. I also dont know if there is a role as a pilot that i should stick to. So please help me.
Soon my stats will look like this:
Int 28 Per 23 Mem 19 Will 19 Cha 16
I like drones alot, but their ships have drone bays that are enourmous - they must have lost other abilities for unusable drone space - that's bad. Or am i wrong? Please help me

well, it all depends on what you want to do really....if you want gank/solo capability you are just right with Gallente...and no they didnt sacrifice much (nothing really) for the huge drone bays. their guns just hurt as much...
I'm so glad I can fly a Blasterthron =)

How'd you get stats that high? Implants?
I have the following stats:
20.90 Intelligence
6.60 Charisma
18.70 Perception
16.50 Memory
14.30 Willpower
I'm not training any CHA skills anymore, and I'm about to get 4 points in Clarity and Focus.
That would leave me with 22.70 (maybe 23 after factoring in Learning) perception, and 18.30 willpower.
Did I mess up at character creation?

Gallante have it pretty good right now. Thier ships excell in pvp and pve. I wouldn't say the other races are gimped right now or that gallante is way out in front.
Tbh I would train frig 3 in all the races and try them out. Its nice to be able to jump in any frig when the choices are few and you will get a feel for what each race is about(although not so much for the drone boats).
If you go with Minmatar stick with armor tanking and projectiles for now and train shield tanking and missiles later.

dont train frig 3 in all races that is really silly, because then you have to train up different weapon skills for each race and before you know it your character is a mixed bag that cant really do anything.
You have to ask yourself what you like, there are really 3 options, as amarr suck atm.
caldari - use missiles, best PvE race, one of the worst PvP races, although they do have a few mice ships for PvP such as the crow, and electronic warefar ships.
gallente - use drones and hybrid guns, a great all round race, can still PvE very competently, and are great ships for solo PvP, and still very capable in fleet PvP.
Minmatar - use projectile weapons, not as good at PvE as caldari and gallente, as they have range issues, great at fleet PvP, they get amazing alpha strike capabilities (damage done with first volley), even at solo roaming you can get some nice ship setups.
My advice is, if you like drones then go gallente, they require a few more sp's then the other races to be as competent with, but they are an amazing race that can do it all.

caldari is not that bad in pvp. you just cant solo much due to the slot layout of the caldri ships (not much space for tackling if shieldtanking) but for support and utility they are still quite useful.

You can get all the other races' frigates + small weapons to 3/4, enough to let you experience their styles, in less time than training one race's small weapon to 5, so it's a good idea to do that if you're unsure. It's also useful if you ever get stuck in 0.0 where there might be frigates but not shuttles available.
Generally it seems that the penalty for a large drone bay or drone bonuses is one less highslot than other race's ships of the same type and tier. The other penalty for drones is faffing about with them not obeying orders, or losing them when you warp out. They are very effective in both PvP and PvE and a good choice for training.
