Hi,
I'm about to start mining in a 0.2 system with my osprey. I don't really expect to be able to tank the rats, but I don't mind as long as I can warp out with my ship and it's T2 lasers. Do these rats tend to fit warp scramblers. If this is giving too much away and I should find out myself just tell me so  .

Yes .2 rats can equip scramblers. I've been scrambled in .3 systems before.

Thanks for that. During the day the system had been quiet, so i thought it would be handy location. In the evening it's less so however -_-, and I experienced my first death by  . Bastards  .

I was able to tank cruiser sized rats in my frigate in .4 space when I was 2 months old.
So yeah, it is possible. But if they scramble you, you better be able to kill em before they kill you, cause you are locked down.

Yes, in low sec both NPCs and players tend to fit warp scramblers. With NPCs it is not that every spaw does it. It is only some particular rats that tend to carry the scramblers. You should either fit warp core stabilizers, or pre-align to a warp point when mining so that you can easily warp out of the belt when needed.
