I was looking at the Drone Speed Augmentor rig, and it says the bonus is "10".
10 what? 10% or 10m/s? Does this affect the MWD speed? Would 2 of these modules get stacking penalty?
Anyone with answers would be appreciated. Thanks

From what I heard these are currently bugged.

I hear they were bugged too, But its hard to get information on any rig other than tanking (armor/shield) or a weapon rig.

Bugged = not working(confirmed by devs btw) = 0% bonus in any case = not important.
I do believe though it's a 1.1 multiplier to relevant stat.

I understand your confusion, hydraSlav (: I HATE it when the improper or no units are used after numbers (if applicable). I suspect it will be 10%, as 10 m/s will hardly make that much of a difference to even the heavies. E.g., the sloth-like Ogre I's max speed is 700 m/s. If the rig gives only a 10 m/s boost, that is barely a 1.4% increase in speed! But if the boost is indeed 10 m/s, then the rig is FTL with a blue light special on it. ..

At what point do your uber fast drones of death stop being able to track fast moving targets? I thought it was bad to train Drone Navigation past lvl 4 or they'll start missing small ships? Won't drone speed mods have the same problem? Or can I get my drones up to rediculous speeds to catch those damned Crow pilots?

I tested my ogre 1s yesterday with 0, 1, and 2 drone navigation computers yesterday and saw no appreciable difference in their damages against an occator (moving, afterburning, and still), but the speeds did increase. No idea what the rigs would do if they did work though.

That's some nice testing there, I'd like to see what happens with someone who has Drone Navigation 5, a pair of drone navigation computers and T2 light drones - with Warrior II's that'll work out to some 6+km/s. Will they actually hit anything, or are they moving to fast to be able to track their targets?

There is drone Max Velocity (with MWD), and then there is the Orbit Velocity. The Max Velocity is used to get to the target (which i believe is the Activation proximity range, but could be something else) but once there, the drone orbits at the Orbit Velocity and shoots.
I remember there was an issue with Drone Navigation increasing both of these speeds, and hence the drones getting poorer tracking since they were orbiting too fast, but as far as i know, that was fixed pretty quickly, and now the Drone Navigation skill only affects the Max Velocity (required to get to the target), not the Orbit Velocity. Same for other modules increasing drone speed.
