AFAIK fighters don't have a max range, which is odd as they get a bonus to it. If there target is on-grid they MWD to it, if the target is off-grid they'll warp to it.
Decent Nidhoggur fit:
4x mix Drone Control Units & remote transfers or a gang-link if you want. 1x Cloak
Sensor Booster 5x cap Recharger II
2x Capital Armor Reps 3x Armor Hardner II (exp/kin/therm)
rigs: 3x Capacitor Control Circuit (15% to cap recharge)
Drone bay: 17 assorted fighters & as many other drones as you can cram in (I have 300+ assorted drones/fighters in my carrier, good luck killing them all)
Originally by: ViperVenom Naglfar--> Good set up from POS take down Is shield tank even a option?
... pass.
Originally by: ViperVenom Also know that the Nidhoggur is the worst carrier but i like minnie ships
I can fly a Nidhoggur now but im waiting untill i have all my support skills maxed. So that will be around April..lol
It's due for a boost soon I reckon, Revelations changed Capital transfer modules to have a much shorter cycle time, making the Nidhoggurs already not-so-useful bonus kinda pointless.

Also, a solo carrier is more often then not, a dead carrier.
People sometimes have the impression that a carrier is a super-tanking jumpdrive solopwnmobile, when infact they are just as vulnerable, if not more vulnerable than a BS.
You wouldn't fly an expensivly fit BS alone into a large enemy gang would you?
That said, a carrier can really turn the tide of any fight provided you have the support to back you up. -----

Originally by: Dragy Sry to say that ... you noob ... never fit cap rechargers on Nidhoggur, fit cap boosters , you ahve enough hold for that and you'll survive LONGER like 10 minutes
First, its posts like that that earn people forum bans.
Second, sure if you want to spend a fortune on cap booster charges after every fight, go for it.
5 heavy electrochems with 800s will gain you 275 Cap/s which is just about equal to my fit with cap Rechargers, except yours is limited by how many charges you have. not to mention you will consume charges at a rate of 20.7 (say 21) per minute. So, based on the current market price for 800s (5350 per unit) your burning 112,350 isk a min. The only benefit I can see is that you could use your rig slots for armor hardener rigs instead of cap recharge.
The way i'm seeing it there is little benefit to your Cap booster fitting for the extra hassle and cost its gonna cause you. Every man to his own I guess.

I point you to the forum rules:
Quote: Personal attacks are prohibited. Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts which are designed to personally berate or insult another.
Reads just like a personal attack to me.
Quote: Recharge rate drops dramaticly at about 30% and cause everyone's using nos you'll be dead cause you won't have cap. 800 boosters give you cap whenever you're nossed or no. And i think that i'd rather to spend 20mil on a battle rather than lose a 1,5bil worth carrier. Suit yourself.
You talk as if the cap you gain from the booster is un-nosable... if you are indeed heavily nosed most of it is gonna disapear just as soon as you gain it. Its not gonna keep you alive any longer. -----
