Hi, recently, I lost my wallet. After a few days, it turned up, but in the meantime I had had my credit cards frozen- and now I'm having difficulty getting them back. I have a trial account, but it only has a few days left, and I don't think I'll be able to get these credit cards working before my trial expires. I don't live anywhere near a game store, so I don't think I could buy a timecard. The only option I can see is to buy a timecard in-game. I have several friends who play the game, and they are willing to lend isk to me to buy a timecard, but I don't know where I could find someone who would be willing to sell to a trial user- that, and the fact that since to my knowledge purchases use the 'give money' system, I believe I have no way to give money. Is there something I am missing? I'd rather not lose this character. |

You can put long skill in training and activate your account after you get your credit cards sorted again. Skill continiues to train while account is not active and trial accounts are not deleted after they go inactive (at least as far I am aware about it).
Another possiblity is to let one of your older frineds to buy bthat timecode for you themselves and then communicate that code to you.

Wait, the accounts aren't deleted when they run out? And you can buy somebody else a timecard? I thought that when you buy the timecard, it automatically adds it to your time remaining...

No, they are guaranteed for six months, and so far none have ever been deleted.

No, it gives you a code that you can submit.

I don't think trial accounts continue training skills after they've expired. Only paying accounts do that.

A little birdie told me that training no longer happens on a deactivated account. Recently reactivated an account and it had been merrily training a 2-week skill while deactivated, so if true, I guess this is a recent change?

I think I remember seeing it in the patch notes/news/dev blog relatively recently (can't remember which one though), so yes.

That was only for the China server but dont know about trail accounts.
As far as the time code, have your friend buy it for you. Sounds like they are doing that anyway?
