Ok does anyone have these better than miner 1 lasers??
I have herd rumors that they exist. If anyone knows where I might aquire some of these I would greatly appreciate it.

Yes, they are in the game I have 1 that pulls 48 ore and a miner 1 pulls in 40 ore, much of a increase. I have also found some that are worse than Basic Miners.

Our corporation just acquired one yesterday.. the real interesting statistic is that not only does it mine faster than a Miner 1, it requires less CPU as well (48). Which means with Electronics 4, you can put 3 of those on a Punisher for heavy duty mining :-).
Although then another problem arises.. the Punisher's puny cargo hold and the need for Co Processors if you would like to add additional equipment.
Also, we've found better co processors as well.. +11.8% to CPU instead of +6%.

You can pick up some CPU enhancers from pirate cruisers that have a 16.6% increase. |

We found both of those (enhanced miner and better co processor) on pirate cruisers. Fun stuff.. glad to see that CCP is making it worthwhile to hunt higher level pirates.

vf142rez, the reason why you are seeing 48 from your miner 1, is because it is factoring in your mining skills bonus. the miners he is talking about, get 48 as it's base.

slighty better that miner 1

it not bad :)
p.s. standart mining laser I can :10km 40 ore and 60s

actually the cu vapor particle bore stream are th best miners there are i know of they do 48 ore in 48 seconds, unf all these miners are bugged so until further notice they are only a little bit better then normal mine1's

Photonic CPU's are about the best i've seen so far, thats what we use.

Why revive a thred dead for about 10 months!?
Best mining rate of a Miner II is about 92.745 if memory serves.
Best mining *ship* is that which can carry most Miner II and keep them going. Go look yourself... (it's either Imicus or Incursus for Gallente. Tristan might come close too)
