It's true. I'm not that upset about the geddon, these things happen in fleetbattles, What was slightly more annoying was when I used the badly mis-named 'Warp to Zero' to get my pod to the station, came out 2.5k's short, right next to some angry harpys.

Excellent that you mention it. Would you like to explain to EVE public just how the battle against BOB ceptors went down in PF? Allow me to ask some question that you can use as a guideline when explaining:
1. How many BOB ships were involved in the fight? 2. How many Outbreak ships were involved? 3. Why did 3 ceptors pick a fight with dictor and hacs, that is ships that they had no chance winning against? Was there baiting involved? 4. How would you clasify the facts that 3 ceptors didn't run from stronger force, since we all know that it is very hard getting mwding ceptor who desires to avoid fighting, and you managed to kill 3. We deliver then news, you live with them |

Well, Points 1 and 2 can be easily answered with a casual glance at the battle summary on the Outbreak killboard.
To answer points 3 and 4, let me quote the Wizard of Wales: Quote:
In other news, bored BoB pilots in H-PA accidentally set their autopilot to PF-QHK in Venal. When they accidentally arrived they accidentally engaged Outbreak ships outside the station which they had accidentally warped to.
After the accidental fight ended both sides were apologetic and assured each other it would never happen again! Both parties agreed that the accidental friendly fire would not deter friendly cooperation during their joint campaign against the evil northÖ.
Some other points to note, Firstly, This Journalism lark is a doddle maybe I should get into it.
Secondly, I'm not the one pretending to be a journalist, you are. So you should really be the one answering the questions shouldn't you? I know what's happening with my corp as the other players in this thread know whats happening with theirs, but i'll be damned if i'm going to do your 'job' for you and tell all on the forums and I doubt they will either.

If you look at the bob kb, you will see the size of the rkk gang by the previous kill's they had, maybe they got into the fight coz they love to fight and had a go? You are not very thorough considering you are tryingto be a very bias reporter. You only have to look at all the particpant's ofthe kills, added with the rkk gang's participant's in previous kills to get an idea

This is awesome. And yes it is journalism.
Every TV/newspaper/internet-page is biased. A reporter hears about something, tries finding information by reading what other people have written, talks to people who might have knowlage about the subject and even trys a head on approach and so on and so forth. All this before making his own opinion and writing it down. Backed by the stories of others and so called facts.
Facts gets messed up, wrong conclutions are made, you see what you want to see. It happens every day. Its human nature. And it's most certainly journalism. - Regards NAFnist |

I know for sure theres some guys in d2 n co that have the right stuff btw ! so you should always exspect outbreak losses :) they understand quite a bit about what will make the alliance stronger as regards to fighting outbreak and other organizations with that kind of player base. We tend to like a very hard fight.. if we slip up it going to be a slaughter with those kind of odds, when there is no gang to fight us we will find corpses though hunting and ganking, we have weeded out alot of peeps who are not helping the north and do not hold the same values for 0.0 as the main hard core pvp forces. The ones who stick it out or jump into toxin for an even closely matched fight have learnt somthing useful for the allaince. We can fight I think very hard for numbers and situation but dont have any illusians, if they all come we can only do so much, then I have to say ok I can either be blobbed to crazy or take off for a little lap or distruction and get some pew pew before the day is out. We dont think its polite to invade and not be there when the enemy show up, but they also realsise we can only be so many.. :) When outbreak is in numbers of 40 + it takes alot of peeple to deel with that. D2 has engaged in a few conflicts more recently where the odds have not been so good as the eager blobs we saw at the start( we still attacked as best we could for silly odds getting a capital kill) but it was also near xmas. You take a few guys on holls ect and well its not polite to stay when you have so little. So once the new year started we went back *but "in greater numbers" . After that, every place we have moved to has become broken. A fire is set in our new bases and inhabitence flee. Some 6nj guys where very ditermined to constanly attack us (even outnumbered), once there was not much about to pew/eat we moved on to pf/ pv, The inhabitents have almost all moved again and we have had to go roaming to look for more numbers. We visit the surrounding area like termite hunting ants, killing off loan termites and then invading the web of nests, killing the gards and moving away to come back and farm later. Sometimes the gards do not show themselfs and the npc station works nicly for them too, sometimes they undock and get some good kills. Also note there have been many parties to vist though, its been a while since I had some fun with the ruskies but it was good they +popped by. the recent larger forces that have come to pf have been a pleasure and Im sure the bobbies have helped spur that on. Why they (bobies) are here is up to them, why are we so chatty in here?, well have been though the mill together in recent and old times and gainded resect though some very hard to call battles. So them being near us, and recently paying a quick "ello boyz" visit is quite exciting! I like the challenge they bring, the way they fight and the taste of their corpse.
this is a damn long post for some dude who cant type sry, but its as honest as it gets from me, so last point about kb's. 3 bob ceptors killed by frig killing stuff, It does not show bob numbers, there was more with afs and inties. Enough to pop something agrowing, and when they all have silly speeds hard to nail down, they dint know what we had ready to undock and where eager to kill, u dont get that info on a kb. I have alot of respect for the bobies and definalty for some of the northeners to. As regards to the future of the north...I no nothing about squid./ I thank all those peeps who take it on themselfs to push there own and corpse ability. From what made my old allaince strong I know what it takes from the other side of the fence.
thats what I've seen with these big brown shiny eyes. i hope since its more on a seriouse note no ones too offended, cos really theres no low sp new players in outbreak part from whisk, so finding a fair match will not be down to numbers, in an alliance you will always have newer mebers, how they get trained up forms the allaince.

Its rumoured that a mysterious huge squid like being has been sighted dangerously close to Outbreak operations. Some local villagers in the north were almost too traumatised to speak until we lit a lighter near their face's and said "speak up old man what was it u saw?"
".....kr..krak...kraken.."
Outbreak's supreme dark council has evaluated the evidence and can only assume that its all BackDoor Bandit's fault for conducting those weird late night rituals at the 8th planet on the 13th moon of a yet unamed system dressed in nothing more then a tiger print thong weilding a pipe filled with an illegal substance and dancing around a small camp fire!
Anymore evidence of this creature should be forwarded to INA (independant News Agency) for further scruitiny.

News from the north. --------------------
While turmoil brews in the north many of the smaller alliances have yet to get directly involved in the conflict.
One such alliance is the Swedish TRE.
Sources within have gathered bold statements from recent discussions on the TRE forums, one writes:
"som sagt.. vi kasta ut dom ur norr f÷rut.. vi kommer att g÷ra det igen.. BoB har ingen "i win" knapp f÷r den har Tre snott"
Translation: Like I said.. we have thrown them [BOB] out of the north before.. and we'll do it again. Bob has no "I win" button cuz TRE stole it
Others use logic to determine the outcome. One says:
"BoB Sr inte kineser. NSr det inte finns nsgot att g÷ra f÷r dom lSngre kommer dom att splittras. Kineserna klarar att hslla ihop ssdana enorma allianser ps grund av konfucianism."
Translation: Bob are not chinese. When there is nothing left to do they will shatter. The Chinese manage to keep such huge alliances togheter because of confucianism.
Some are even more confident yet:
"skitsnack..... BOB har bajsat sig sjSlv i munnen, dom skall d÷den d÷!"
Translation: Bull****..... BOB have shat themselves in the mouth, they shall die!
Only time will tell if such fierce displays of confidence will prove true. |

After a rather peacefull day and night events started unfolding as I write these lines.
MC and BOB show of force in Tribute entry points
Sometime after midnght MC entered M-O from Taisy with a force of about 30 fast ships. Small northern force camp was dispersed and MC took over control of M-O. Then 2 motherships were jumped in. My sources also confirm presence of 14-18 MC carrier gang in the same area. MC forces are backed up by 20 BOB gang moving around Autaris-Nalvula area.
So far there were no clues about intentions of involved parties. I will keep you posted. We deliver then news, you live with them |
