Anybody have this problem?
Finished a mission and the wrecks can't be salvaged.
No right-click menu and no overview buttons when you click on the wreck.
Wreck can be locked by clicking on it with a pre-activated salvager, but the salvager says there's loot in the wreck.
Double clicking the wreck opens an empty loot window, but a cargo scan shows loot inside the can.
Logged on a second account, warped to the wrecks, and same thing.
One crazy bug or what?

Problems like this are normally caused by lag, either on your end or in the server node.
I just finished salvaging several missions and had no problmes at all. if it doesn't work after downtime clear your cache, then try again.

I think it's cache related. Logged onto same account using different installation and the problem wasn't there.

hmmm....
Looked There and saw that it's to "fixed" in the next patch
I don't think settings has anything to do with this since it was actually two completely different player accounts that had the same problem on the same wrecks.
So how did the settings get messed up in both? The second player wasn't there until after the mission had been completed, and we came back for the wrecks.
Both players couldn't open them, see the loot or salvage the wrecks.

Its definately a cache thing. I moved my prefs.ini and setting folder then nuked my cache. Reloaded and same thing ...so I completely nuked my cache and it was fixed. Had to redo all my settings but it was worth it. Even tweaked my settings that needed to be tweaked after so long. Think I even noticed a little bit of performance upgrade afterwards.
Definately not lag as my other toon was having no problems with same cans.

True. There is a thread in the 'Known issues and Workaround' section, but you lose your BM folder. The other settings like overview etc. seem to stay. Linkage ______________

This problem can be "easily" fixed by deleting the contents of your "Settings" folder in the cache... This does however have a few nasty side effects..... Which I raised with the GMs when getting it solved over the weekend...
(i.e. loss of any Folders for BMs Agents etc, UI window loncations, Graphical settings etc)
