The second part of January's dividend (or interest I should say) has now been paid out.
It was paid out at 3% for the second half of Jan, bringing the total for January up to 5.5% pm or an effective compound 90.1% per year.
Many of the BPOs that FIN had invested in took a heavy knock with the reseed, but actions have been taken to minimise this and we expect Feb to be back up to the target 6% level.
That brings the total amount of Isk paid out to investors directly (not counting bonds held by FIN) to 30,692,652,600 since inception on 23 September 2006.
Thank you to all the investors that have trusted us with their Isk and I hope that you are happy with the results thus far.
Sincerely,
Eefrit (aka EFS Manager)

Good job, Eefrit. Not great dividends, but not bad either. Hope next month is better.

As previously mentioned, not the best dividens to date. However I can certainly say that I like FIN for the fact that while not the best dividends it is reliable, and steady. i.e. Low-risk. I'm just craving more and more shares now so that I can eventually just live off the dividends. mwahahaha
Keep up the good work!

While I apreciate the words of support, could both previous posters please let me know what other investment (that is decently) large has better dividends? (lets forget the lack of security here). FIN has averaged just over 6% since inception and only one payment was below this mark and then by 0.5% only.
Thanks,
Eefrit

Edited by: Narusegawa Naru on 02/02/2007 14:32:49 I did say "not the best dividends to date", when I said that I meant FIN has done better in the past. I do recall last year there being a period of 7.5%? Unless my memory is wrong.
I've only ever had ones with FIN though as I trust FIN more than any other investment plan. I had a choice awhile back between FIN and ISS.... I think I made the right choice with FIN.
(I chose FIN -before- I joined IAC)

Fair enough, but you are slighly wrong. We paid out 7% in December but every other one has been 6% on the dot with the exception of the first part in January.
I honestly do not expect to get more than 7% any time soon with all the changes CCP have made, but long term I still believe that 6% is sustainable.

Yes, you can still buy more FIN bonds. Just send the Isk to EFS Manager and post in the sales thread on the sales forum.
