Private Personal info, that normally is only given to by Trojan software(illegal) or contacting the person's ISP.
like "First we had spys getting forum access to share information with their masters.
Then we had people selling their access to their enemies
Then came people defecting wholesale but staying in their alliance for months.
Then people (Mittani of GS) started using images that tracked your IP when you viewed them to gather intel.
Then people (D2) used supposedly official sites to gather IP's and information of their enemies. - illegal to do personally unless the company that had the person's sign the EULA, do it or unless contacted by ISP of person's for reasons of threats of death. DDOSing and other illegial activities
Now it seems that certain parties (Goonswarm, Kugutsamen to name two) have actively hacked peoples forums accounts in order to read their PMs and post the contents on Eve-o. - If this is true there may even been information for shared accounts stolen, credit card online theft. high is a felony in the united states
I think its time CCP drew a line for intel-gathering metagaming. Some of what we have seen is clearly illegal but very difficult to enforce, some is in the grey area of legality regarding IPs. Some is considered immoral if still legal.
CCP need to state once and for all what will be tolerated and what can legitimately be allowed. When sites like Kugutsamens continue to charge ISK for information that can only possibly have been obtained by illegal methods, something needs to happen.

and as i understand there is a very major hole in personel securty! if left unchecked it is very possible for it to get much worse. credit card theft, finding someone's personal info of say,
someone who scammed someone else in eve. and a chance that someone might have a mental illness, who might try to find them, disturb them and their families. or murder them if they're given the abilty and chance due to these methods of information gathering and illegality of it done in the first place.
this thread is not a thread for use of harassing other players. Role-play or anything. the only other use then of this thread is the discussing of emergency situations and loss of life might that might occur.

Who are you to ruin the gameplay of another person?
The only thing which would be of concern would be if that player abused that information, which I see no evidence of here.
People like you honestly sicken me to the core.
What good are you trying to do?
What do you want to achieve?
All I see is an attempt to destroy the work of a person who plays Eve, for no reason other than setting off a drama-bomb.
I hope you get banned, and the "source" of this information too.
