In the Crius expansion, the Thukker Component Assembly Array was released to give low-sec a boost to the production of capital construction components. These receive a 25% reduction in manufacturing time as well as a 10% reduction in required materials which allows low-sec industrialists to compete against the outpost bonuses available in nullsec.
I haven't seen any mention of this module in the many forum posts on the transition from POS to Citadels. Anyone know if there's any plans to keep this module alive in the post POS era?
Thanks. |

Citadels are supposed to replace the basic functions of POS and outposts. The more advanced features like the thukker array, moon mining, and reverse engineering will be handled by a different set of structures that will be released in the future.
POS are not going away any time soon. You will be able to use the thukker array for quite a while longer. |

I would hope that when the other types of structures ( beyond the first citadels released ), Drill Platforms, Research structures etc. are introduced, that a matching or replacement service module with the same attributes as the Thukker will be made available. But with little info coming from CCP on many of these concerns, one can only hope.

Civil discourse is uniquely human. After all, when is the last time a pride of lions and a herd of water buffalo negotiated SOV over a watering hole? Never.
Someone either gets their ass kicked or eaten. At the end of the day someone holds SOV.
