Quote: You are not superior to other races because you just are, you are superior because of your faith and the belief the HE is your one true God and thus making you Enlightened. This means that you are no more superior than the Ammatar, your enlightened BROTHERS in faith and Empire, because the Ammatar believe in HIM and HIS word as well.
The Amarrians are the chosen race of God as ordained in the holy scriptures. That alone is enough to elevate them above the lessor races and secure their place as servants of God. I as a Ni-Kunni know my place and know I must work twice as hard to secure Enlightenment due to the heritage of my birth. This is not a failing on my part but it is a fact and I must work daily to overcome the handicap of Ni-Kunni heritage I was born with.
Likewise the Ammatar are of the Minmatar race and are Enlightened. Scagga said "Ostos, I may lack the noble roots of the honourable House of Marek, but it is crucial to remember that the Amarr are our model, not our equal. We may have equal loyalty to the one faith, but it also is crucial to know one's place in the Amarr world order." which describes perfectly the situation we all live in.
Knowing ones place in the hierarchy of the Amarrian Empire and taking ones duty to God and Empire in that place is nothing to be ashamed of. We are fortunate the great Amarr Empire gives those of us not blessed with the Amarrian heritage an opportunity to serve and reach Enlightened status. As a result we Ni-Kunni just as the Ammatar owe a debt of gratitude to Amarr that can never be repaid.
Cipher7 said "So you're saying basically that it is right and proper that you should debase yourself because you were born Matari instead of Amarrian." but this is not the case at all. It is not allowing yourself to be debased to accept ones place in the universe and do your best in that role. We all have a place in the kingdom of God, some as religious men such as myself, some as Ni-Kunni such as myself, some as slave such as my father was himself. There is nothing wrong with that.
To deny ones place in the kingdom of God and seek something one is not entitled to is the true sin. God has chosen our place, He has given us the means to become Enlightened, but we must open our hearts and minds to His truth and reach out to take his hand and life ourselves from the despair that is life without His truth.
