As the title suggests I'm having some 'issues'. I should first tell you I am a computing noob. Second I should tell you this is a new PC and I really trust the guys that made it. Third they tested it for a few hours (stress test or whatever it is) and it had no issues) - this counted out the video card and its drivers and other 'stuff'.
When I have multiple clients open, one will usually disconnect after a while (may be half an hour), I'm pretty sure I have disconnects when I'm just using one client however. This PC should easily be able to support more than one client.
I have been having problems with my ISP as have others (Tiscali FTL ). But it is generally considered that Tiscali fails to keep game servers online during the evening (GMT), for me it can be any time of the day. Please note I don't actually disconnect from the internet just one or all clients disconnect (no error message, nada, I'm just back at my desktop).
Also as much as I'd like to I cannot blame Tiscali for the BSODs. These things happen daily, the messages they give seem to vary but usually contain, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I understand this can be RAM or the CPU overheating, but I kinda presume when it was checked over that this was checked for.
Something they suggested was the motherboard was incompatible. The one I have is ASUS P5N32-SLI Premium. Anyone know whether others have had troubles with this?
Also with regards to the LogServer, is it possible to get this to save a workspace when I get the BSOD. Also is it worthwhile using it Re the disconnects (or CTD is probably more precise) or would they likely blame my ISP?
Thanks for the help. And may I say I f****** hate computers. Why the f*** are the best games on these evil pieces of evilness . It taunts me from it's plastic cage....

If you can write down the error code (0x0000000000) from the BSOD it is usually pretty easy to narrow the problem down.

It is a realtek onboard sound driver problem i have the same.
Now I am running EVE without Sound. No blue screens if i disable the realtek sound driver.
Its not a CCP problem, its a realtek driver problem. I have the same problem playing an computer games with sound.
It sucks, the latest Feb 8, 2007 realtek drivers still not solve the problem.
