Hey. I am looking to get into Sansha low sec combat exploration.
I have near perfect skills for armor and drones and 4/5 HAC.
This is the fit I was thinking about:
[Ishtar, Armor] Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Damage Control II Medium Armor Repairer II Corpus B-Type Armor EM Hardener Corpus B-Type Armor Thermal Hardener
Omnidirectional Tracking Link II Omnidirectional Tracking Link II Cap Recharger II Gistum B-Type 50MN Microwarpdrive
Sisters Core Probe Launcher Improved Cloaking Device II Small Tractor Beam [empty high slot]
Medium Anti-EM Pump II Medium Auxiliary Nano Pump II
It has armor resist profile (EM 88%, TH 88,8%, KI 86,2%, EX 22,5%)
Should I change anything? |

I haven't run many Sansha sites, but I have done a ton of Blood Raider murdering in lowsec. A few thoughts:
Jettison the salvagers. You don't want to be salvaging anything during lowsec exploration. Kill quickly and move on. Throw on a remote armor repairer for drones (offline if necessary) or a smart bomb as someone else suggested. Consider a drone link augmenter for drone range in a high slot. If you're not using sentries consider swapping an omni for a drone nav computer (or two) because your mediums and heavies are ssssllllloooooowwwww...
Bling your repper. At least a C-type; B would be better. If you're going to risk that much isk on a lowsec ship, the additional cost of the repper should not phase you. If cost is a concern, bling your repper before your resists, IMO.
Don't fly this thing into lowsec unless you're completely comfortable with living or moving about in lowsec. or if you have so much iskies that losing 300 mil isn't a problem |

Do you really want to use a fit without a plate? Sure, it makes you slower. BUT it gives you time if/when something goes wrong. My 1600 plate saved me very often. |

I would need EFT, but one thing you could try is to fit a 100mn afterburner on the thing (you might need to do some fitting magic but it should be possible).
This would only be for if you were using heavies and not sentries. Between that and a bling repper, you should be able to speed tank much of the site. |

Vaga is not as good as the Muninn, its rubbish with Arty and Medium Autos are too close range. You also don't that crazy EM resist by default.
Muninn is great, with a Single T1 CCC, a medium Rep and a Therm hardener you can do also most every low sec site. Just add extra tank for the Sansha Annex and 5/10. |

What are you talking about.. The vaga has a native 90 percent EM Resist and literally 1 med t2 rep and a Thermal hardner can tank anything sansha.. If you fit a cap battery it will reflect and help with nuets and you can ab cap stable all over the place. Its has perfect damage projection as most things dont web much and if they do you can track them.. Not to mention have you ever tryed to catch a vaga bond.. Munin is slow as crap.. So yeah idk wth vaga you are using.. |
