I'm betting it will. I've played Eve under very little load on some pretty questionable rigs over the years.
Anything new should be more than capable.
I've been waiting for the new graphics tech to hit, and been playing two clients on my desktop with the onboard graphics.
Optimize for performance and I'm confident anything new could play Eve. |

Screen size doesn't really matter. CPU matters a little, faster is better. But the biggest thing that matters is whether the Video Card is good enough to support the game.
Here are the EVE Online requirements. Unfortunately, graphics and cpu manufacturers don't have a straightforward naming convention for their parts, so you'll have to use VGA charts and CPU charts to see how your eeebook's video and processor compare to the ones listed in the minimum requirements. |

It will run, I've done it on an eeeBook myself, but don't expect to take part in fleet fights. |

The Atom is adequate for web browsing, but is otherwise a low-power and low-performance mobile processor. There are now quad core Atoms, but still they are not really meant for gaming, but are fine for watching streamed video.
The Core2 Duo is about 20 times faster than an Atom from my own testing, and is also a low-power mobile processor.
I'd recommend an i5 for EVE. |

I've played on a bad laptop, on low graphics settings you should be OK, but I'll echo what Neuntausend said, don't expect to be able to do fleet fights/things in crowded systems very well

Thanks all.
Neuntausend if it works for u then it will probably work for me. I like when someone have tested it IRL.
And low grade laptops that are a cuple of years old will still be faster than the eeebook, there are probably phones that beat it :D

when my desktop died i used an extra Asus Vivobook that we had lying around... minimal graphics and polish but it got the job done
*almost identical configuration, was using win8.1 instead of 10*
Thank me later :D

With as many menus and windows Eve has, it matters too ******* much.
I remember playing Aion, trying to fit 10 skillbars on my screen. Eve is like that except on steroids. My Exotic Dancers are on steroids. Everything in Eve is on steroids. |

That system is well below our min spec, although Eve will probably launch. If Eve if a primary use case, I'd try to find a way to try it out before buying so you know what you're getting.

I would not attempt undocking with this configuration.
Static station work only
Probably be 'slow as balls' with all graphic settings as low as they can go mind you. Better than nothing if you're only interested in your station trades.
