I would like some clarification if we are allowed using ingame images on websites for eve-corps (in this case for FIN).
What is the CCP policy on this?
Thanks,
Eefrit

The policies atleast say that content available trough EVE Online website can be used for non-commercial purposes as long as CCP trademark/copyright is meantioned. It's a little hazy tough on the ingame stuff.
The data extracts provided from time to time did at one point contain images as well (icons), if I'm not mistaken. |

Frackin is correct and this also extends to in-game imagery. There are certain instances where a non-commercial agreement may need to be reached, but this is more the case for tangible goods and items.

How's this play for fan sites which use images and content (item and other descriptions) from the game? Can operators ask for PayPal donations to keep such a site afloat or would that violate CCP's copyrights?
edit: clarity

Thanks for the response Kieron.
Could you please give a little more specifics here. Essentially some of the graphics (like my signature) include some images taken from Eve. Do I need to have a copyright comment on the image itself, or can I have one in the "about" section of the webiste or in the footer.
Also I have just had an advert for Eve-Files done that is essentially an ingame advert for a corp website. Do I need to include it on there and if so what do I need to do that does not kill the image.
Thanks,
Eefrit
