I got this wrong?
This looks like aggresome but its not? This is cytoskeleton? Really??? Anyone care to elaborate?

This happens often, they have recently changed it to reduce the frequency of stuff like that. Some are no-brainers and the community comes up with some off the wall consensus. It's frustrating for someone who prides themselves on attention to detail. |

That was one of the test images, not a community consensus issue.
That said, that is cytoskeleton rather than aggresome because of the fibrous nature of the green staining, look around the edges of it and you'll see that it's definitely cytoskeleton. |

All new to me so I'm learning to spot the patterns better. Thanks for the tip.
The last two images in the aggresome example have fiberous like structures making it confisuing but they do have a solid center unlike my example.

Yeah it's cytoskeleton. While it looks like it's concentrated near the nucleus, you can see the filaments extending outward. In one of the cells to the left you can observe that the protein is less concentrated near the nucleus. It's a tough one though! |

yeah, MMOS could've picked something a little clearer for a test image, but they do wan't people to pay attention to detail, so they can't all be super easy or the community consensus images will get badly scewed results when there's nothing obvious |

It's cytoskeleton, although I can see how you might mistake it for aggresome. There are also aggresomes that look a bit like that, but they don't also have the whispy stringy bits you can see on most of those. |
