Hi there,
Does anyone know where I can find specific information on how expanded cargo holds affect the maximum m3 of a given ship's hold?
Does anyone know the math?

it is your m3 x 1.x
x being the number on the module.

If you have multiple cargohold mods then multiply the effect. SO two Exapnded Cargoholds giving 15% each means:
YourFinalCapacity = YourInitialCapacity * 1.15 * 1.15

I'm just trying to figure out how my Tormentor which starts with 235 can get up to approx. 439m3 with only 3 regular expanded cargo holds. By my math they should come out at 365.45. Perhaps I'm not accounting for the extra 5% capacity the Tormentor gives? Even with that 5% I can't see it cranking the capacity up to 439m3.
Any thoughts? I'll do the math, but this has me boggled.

With 5% added in this manner:
Hold 1: (235*1.05)*1.15 = X Hold 2: (X*1.05)*1.15 = Y Hold 3: (Y*1.05)*1.15 = Z
Max space = 413.74m3
Seems about right, but I could have sworn my ship held 439m3. *shrugs* At least the number is closer.

Skill is figured differently then Mods; also are you using basic or standard cargo expanders?
Skill Bonus ((235*(Skill*1.05)) = 270.25 Basic Expanders (((270.25*1.15)*1.15)*1.15) = 411 Standard Expanders (((270.25*1.175)*1.175)*1.175) = 438.4

Skills/Implants are taken into account first when calculating anything. Modules second.

cargo capacity increase is in the ship description - ie no skill for extra cargo, but the SHIP itself may have cargo bonuses for each level of the ship
ex haulers in give +5% per level of hauler (iteron, mammoth etc right in the description of the ship)
