Guide to using game time codes
If you have a code on hands, go to my account and look for option to reactivate by applying GTC - you'll just need to type it in and click ok and your account will become active. If you want to buy a GTC with ISK you will need to transfer the required ISK to the character on inactive account, ask a seller to set up a sell order to that char, then log in to its account using this site. Even if account is inactive you can still log into it to subscribe.

Afaik yes. Instead of setting it up as a sale for 0 ISK, by the way, you can just email the code to him and he can apply it himself when he wants to.

Didn't see this mentioned in my scan through the posts, sorry if it has been answered. If I buy a GTC in game for isk, from a GTC reseller, does it "start up" or add to my subscribed time from when my paid-for-by-creditcard subscription time expires, or does it start immediately when the transaction is done? In other words, if I still have, say, 3 days of time left on account when I get GTC code in game, will I lose those 3 days? Thanks.

You do not lose any of the days left on your account. It just adds up to whatever time you still have plus the time you purchased.

What happens if someone trades u a 60d gtc on secure but puts the isk at 3.8m instead of 380m? is it petitionable when its his own mistake? as he always has the option to cancel the trade before the buyer accepts it.

Ok, so today I sent a corpmate some ISK to get a GTC because he doesn't have any RL money at the moment. I assume it is completely legal for him to send me a GTC sell offer for 1 ISK to repay me?

Quoted from the very first posting in this thread:
Quote: The buyer must log into the account management page and accept the offer.
Simply don't accept. No petition necessary.

So after reading as many posts as i could handle I have yet to see anyone answer this question.
Can you in some way activate a dormant account with a GTC bought with ISK via this secure procedure.
I have my main account which I want to purchase a GTC for a inactive second account to activate it...any way of doing this? or am I SOL. Thanks If you melt dry ice can you swim in it and not get wet? |

Worked for me about 30 days ago, but at these current isk prices I'll be SOL doing it again. I just don't earn enough isk playing.
I saw a post somewhere on the forums that explained it for me? You have to have enough money in the inactive account to pay for it though! (Not sure you can give money to inactive accounts?) Once they send you the offer you can log in under My Account and you will have a new option to accept it (forget which menu it was under)...but it works...or did a month ago.

To clarify, yes, you give the ISK to a character on the inactive account. When you make the trade, make sure the seller makes the offer to the inactive character.

Yes but I how can I receive the Evemail if my Account is expired We have this problem right now. Can someone help me to solve it please. A solution I can think of is sending the buyer an additional mail with the timecode to his active account. Of course only after the payment is on my account.

Ok did you have them do the GTC purchase securely? If you did check your my account spot on this website. Then look on the right side of the place where it says account services and there should be a spot stating that someone has offered you and eve time code. Just click on that and hit accept.
