Hello, I was playing with QF and came upon this setup for a jaguar. I never flew this ship before so i am curious if it is any good?
The idea would be to tackle anything short of an interceptor or a nanoship. (prefered targets would be cruisers and other assault frigs).

Velocity : 2200-2300 m/sec
Shield EM : 77 % Shield Explo : 64 % Shield Kinetic : 46 % Shield Thermal : 64 %
P.S. I know it's expensive but that is not a problem if it's efective. (will try to test it on sis first)

Go for the jagabond it is a jaguar with auto cannons using barrage a mwd, 20km disruptor and medium shield extender and a web or small shield extender and gyrostabs/pdu
HIGH 3x 150mm AutocannonII 1x small nos (This comes last if you can fit)
MED 1x 1mn mwdII or faction 1x 20km Warp jammer 1x Medium Shield extender 1x invunfieldII/weber/small shield extender LOW 2xPower Diagnostic Units 1x gyrostab
RIGS
2x autocannon falloff rigs
Strategy- Lock scram and orbit at your optimal range + fall off range(should be above 8km) web if you fit one and watch them die

I would think the wolf would be better suited for Arty.

I can't see a jagabond setup working... I mean, if you're staying outside of web range, and I figure that's the point, then you wanna use 200s with barrage, and falloff rigs... with t1 falloff rigs and level 4 in trajectory analysis, at 11km you get a 55% accuracy...
I don't know, I wanna believve in the jagabond, but I've yet to see a setup that makes sense to me
here's what I'm thinking (perfect fit with max skills, as in 0.19 pg and 0.0 cpu

the damage is unimpressive, the speed is merely alright (great for an AF, not great for a frig), and the damage tops out around 140DPS... that's assuming perfect accuracy, which doesn't happen when fighting in falloff

Hi, I don't know about the jaguabond...seems to risky... Web=detah in my opinion for any small ship.
With artys i can safely stay at 15 km in optimal. The dmg of autos at opt+fall is not very good.
With artys i should have over 100 dps (depending on ammo) while with autos at that range i would hit for less i think.
The wolf is indeed a good arty platform but imho only in gangs.
If anyone tried it with autos and with artys on the jag pls let me know which was better.
