Hi
I have been playing EVE for sometime now and have seen the various transitions of it overtime. We all know itÆs a very unique game that is a standalone when it comes to online games - fully understand that the game design and mechanics cannot please everyone - some stay - some go.
But most stay which is good for EVE and our community, however more and more players are moving on -- large SP characters getting sold off in forums, sell outs, leaving game auctions, and not seen big number counts in game!
I run 7 accounts of V- high SP characters and enjoy doing so in various forms of game play. In effect I am investing in the game and in CCP.
In a recent petition with one of my alts - I undocked from a station and suffered server lag-- and for no reason the station guns opened fire when ship appeared - I lost a ship and a expensive cargo
The answer I received was the standard day old character answer from a GM - wont post here due to the rules. I / we invest time and RL money into the game û what do we get back when i/we have a problem -- a 1 day NEWB answer and will probably have to wait 2 weeks for a resolution. And I will not receive the items that were stolen from the canùwill I if CCP decides it was a game error. The character in local joking / laughing etc - over a game issue that I have no control and that he know nothing about
I /we invest time and RL money (account) into the game.
I/we as players expect speedy results û this has gone on long enough(years) û the petition system is poor in terms of manpower allocation, quality of investigation(if you complain hard enough it will escalate to a senior GM) and outcome in most cases.
Up to 2-3 weeks for a response, that playerÆs ISK is not making more for him due to the poor response of this system.
There lots going on ATM and I donÆt mean to fuel the fire but after this amount of time playing it makes wonder who is the priority, player numbers and profit --- or the player experience and enjoyment in game.

Protection and profit --
Secure ETC trading has also been implemented, now players can
trade ETC for ISK with Instant ETC activation. The FAQ and Player
Guide will be updated with information on these changes in the near
future. However, you can read more about the changes in this forum
post.
