o7,
some day in the past i said to myself to make a BPO collection of every BPO in game on 10/20 (reason: just because). Now i am approaching the 500 BPO mark and i struggle more and more to keep oversight over which BPOs i own and which not (as in which i need to buy next).
Now i am pretty sure there is a way to do this via SDE, spreadsheets and assets API. I just don-¦t really know much about that stuff. Someone of you can tell me/hint me into a direction on how to do that? |

I use jEveAssets most of the time
If you are familiar with some filter settings, this might be helpful... Filtering BPO from BPC, with 10/20 or less or doubles, or location, ... |

But can it filter the BPOs i own from the BPOs that are existing ingame so i can see which BPOs i still have to buy? |

Oh sorry, misread that part... I am not sure, and i cannot verify that right now, because sitting at work and no installation on this machine... will have a look later on. |

The last time I went through my DVD and BlueRay collection, I found I have at least 4 copies of Ultra Violet.
A friend asked me to sell all his industry assets. I think I sold at least 80 billion ISK or more worth of stuff, before he told me to keep the rest.
Those BPO and BPC haunt me to this day. There was a LOT of them. So many different levels of research. So many duplicates.
I've not found anything to help inventory them to my satisfaction. It is really hard, as most programs can't adequately inventory items in personal hangars, select corporate office hangars, nor select POS hangars. Containers can also be an issue.
I've mostly just avoided looking at them, to avoid an OCD flare-up. |

@Jewel Crown Hmm i think i wasn-¦t really clear what i had in mind. Edited. Thanks for the help though.
@Tau Cabalander Fortunately this is not the case for me. Only ones i want to separate from the full BPO list are my fully researched BPOs. As my BPOs are all on one toon in a npc corp in one container it shouldn-¦t be too hard to do this. Also i only research on two toons so it should be too hard to keep track of these ones. I just have to find a way... |

jEveAssets might work... You could create an List with all existing BPOs in game --> Export to excel or something else Filter your assets to fully researched BPO --> Export to same excel, different worksheet
Compare both sheets, remove duplicates or VLOOKUP Function... something like that.
It isn't that pretty, but should give you the results you'd like to have |

Your BPOs...Are they in Corp hangar or personal hangar? I have a Google sheet that checks item not listed for sale in the station of my choice. Just to need to modify the API call and it will do what you need |

The BPOs are in a personel hangar.
If i understand it right i could select a station, let the api call give out BPOs that are seeded by npc sell orders and give it out so i can compare/remove/whatever then? This sounds like a bit of tedious work if i have to do this for every single npc station in game... |

Alhira Katserna wrote:Alright, i-¦ll have a look into it. That sounds pretty much like what i wanted to have and tbh i absolutely don-¦t care if it is pretty or not... EDIT: First step done. I got a nice spreadsheet with all the BPOs i own. Now i have the problem that i cannot really export a csv with the blueprints as all blueprints listed by jeveassets are listed as blueprints. They are not sorted by Original, Copy etc. Exporting a csv would result in having all the t2 copies, storyline copies, faction copies in that list too...
I think you can filter them... Category "Blueprint" AND Name contains "I Blueprint" AND Name not contains "II Blueprint" AND "Base Price > 0,00" or something like that. Should filter all the copies, T2, faction stuff out.
This for example will not show any ships or capital parts (not named like I Blueprint)... Ships might be a little pain, but as a "long-time" player with some experience sorting T1 from T2 should be easy. You have to play around with the filters. I have several filtersettings saved so i can switch immediately between Mods, Ships, Rigs, Ammo, etc.
It's a little bit of initial work, though quite useful for the future.
I also made a filter for "Selling vs. Reprocessing". A lot of loot and stuff which is not worth selling can be reprocessed to clean assets a little bit But that's another story |

Well of course I'd need to modify a bit morethan the API call...
As for your JEVE export: does it show max runs? That's one way to distinguish between BPOs and BPCs |

@Jewel Crown I tried that all. played around with the filters for half an hour.
Filtering "II" does work. Filtering "I" to show T1s exclude all ammo, ships. Filtering ">0,00" still includes nearly all Augmented drones which amusingly have a price attached to it like some storyline BPCs too. (Btw: wtf is an "Amarr Police Frigate" and why is there a blueprint for it?) I mean it-¦s doable with filters but i think i will have a list of filters long enough for 3 screens...
That why i initially thought about getting a csv from all the blueprints in game as afaik there are BPOs and BPCs easily to distinguish as they-¦re somehow marked with 0 and 1 (can remember that from trying to set up a production spreadsheet once). This way it would be way less of a pita.
@Professor Humbert No it doesn-¦t show max run. |

Combining the filters with AND/OR ... except for the ships it should work quite nice.
There are also some other exotics like the "Amarr Police Frigate" - maybe they come in the future, or were there in the far past ... i really don't know.
As I said, it wouldn't be pretty. Maybe you can something do with DB Dumps. If I find a solid solution i'll text you. |

just returned from a long break, but i used to do something like you are asking about with IPH.
As i have not started up my industrial side yet i am unaware if it will Work or not anymore (still getting back into everything Again)
if i remember correctly it has all stuff you can build and you can mark/sync the BPOs you have into it. so looking at the large list of stuff to build you could clearly see if you had the bpo and how well it was researched.
Again i can not confirm if this still Works or not but that about what i did if memory serves correct. |

@Jewel Crown Omg that would be awesome.
@Lando Tarsaden I know about this and Evemon/jEveAssets and a lot of other tools do exactly the same. I could even do it per hand without using any external tool by just opening the market browser and typing every single bpo into it (of course excluding them i already remember i have). It-¦s just plain annoying and time consuming to do it this way every time again i want to buy a bunch of 30-50 BPOs. If i can figure out a way or someone show me how to do it it-¦s just importing two csv everytime again and let the spreadsheet automatically compare them. |

Since you've already started making your own, i won't modify my aforementioned google sheet.
Instead, would this kind of list help?
BPTypeID BPTypeName activity1ProductID activity1ProducMetaGroupID 681 Clone Grade Beta Blueprint 165 0 682 Clone Grade Gamma Blueprint 166 0 683 Bantam Blueprint 582 0 684 Condor Blueprint 583 0 685 Griffin Blueprint 584 0 686 Osprey Blueprint 620 0 687 Caracal Blueprint 621 0 688 Raven Blueprint 638 0 689 Slasher Blueprint 585 0 690 Probe Blueprint 586 0
You can see from the sheet that the logic behind is: If a Blueprint can be ME researched (according to CCP DB dump) and its manufacturing product is of none- metaGroupID (i.e. no T2, faction, storyline stuff) then the Blueprint is most likely an Original.
It's not perfect but should be a good starting point. |

I would like friends in game like this :D, I lost 99%of my BPOs/BPCs in a gank (I thought I was flying an empty industrial but wasnt) and I didnt have it in me to buy and research all those things again). (although technically no need for research if making T2 items)

I have made a spreadsheet that does something like this. It's not incredibly robust but it does the following:
1) Creates a sheet with all of the blueprints I own 2) On another sheet, I have a list of all blueprints. 3) The following columns on the BP List: Owned, ME, TE
If I own the blueprint it will say 'yes', it will also grab the ME/TE of the blueprint and display it. I haven't updated it in a while, but it's something that can be updated quite easily. It's a google Spreadsheet using some google code to handle the data stuff. If you're interested I can help you out with it :) |

This sounds great.
Two questions (as i am curious): Does the bp list actually include all bps ingame or were you be able to seperate bpos from bpcs (like faction bpcs and that like). And how did you do that? |

I don't remember where I got the list from haha, but there is a better way to get the data now. It doesn't contain BPC's faction or otherwise.

That's an example what it looks like; the headers are filterable so I can filter on whatever is needed.
There's also something similar to this in the Eve Isk Per Hour Application (shameless plug) lol.
When it grabs the info it discerns whether or not it's a BPO or BPC and on the page that the snippet above is from there's a check in the cell to verify it's a BPO. |

I think that EVE-IPH will do much, if not all, of what you want with blueprints, through its "blueprint management" window - see the "edit" menu in the program. |
