As today seems to be a day of me moaning!
A mate linked a load of Chinese server ship skins which I've added to my Bio. They are so much cooler than all of the skins we have. CCP I would personally pay good money for these type of skins. So if you want to continue to increase your revenue in 2016-17, give us some cool skins please.
If you want to see a few examples of the skins i'm talking about please check out my Bio. PS. The Mach skin is *** HOT!

This has been brought up before, and also the issue that they're not selling universal skins (one for all ships), and also their price plans. Ultimately those forum threads went nowhere, so personally I concluded that CCP sells you whatever they feel you're willing to buy; clearly a nice color skin will instantly show just how ****** all the rust and diarrhea colors we have now truly are (CCP's term is "dark and gritty"), and they're trying to sell the current "stock" of colors before they bring out the "good stuff" or whatever. Except they'll never get to the "good stuff" because it's low priority under a sea of bugs and other more important issues. |

My guess is that they are going to have some kind of ship painting utility they'll sell you for $20. Only you can see the paint jobs, but hey, you're playing for you... right?
In relation to the OP, the Chinese have everything these days... they even have entire modern cities for just a few bureaucrats.
That's why they get the skins... they be cool.

They should review the dark and rusty themes of design, because the Chinese skins are really look so much better.
Furthermore, the Japanese Hello Kitty Kestrel is a good example of how to make the game appeal to untapped market of female players. Don't waste the great potential of skins. |

There are so many SKINs CCP ought to be selling and isn't. They really just don't know what the playerbase wants in terms of SKINs and don't care.
- We have eight Ardishapur SKINs, sixteen Kador SKINs, eight Khanid SKINs, eight Sarum SKINs, and twelve Tash-Murkon SKINs. Where are the Kor-Azor SKINs? Aritcio Kor-Azor is (soon to be "was") one of the most interesting characters in all EVE fiction.
- We have forty-six Intaki SKINs but no Jin-Mei SKINs. None. Nada. Zero.
- We have exactly one Vherokior SKIN, three Sebiestor SKINs, and zero Brutor SKINs. Meanwhile we have eleven Krusual SKINs, seven Nefantar SKINs, and three Thukker SKINs. How popular are those non-playable bloodlines among roleplayers (the most likely population to care about SKINs and non-playable bloodlines both)? I'd estimate the Thukker are the most popular, followed by the Ammatar (for whom there's zero SKINs), then the Krusual or Nefantar. CCP's Minmatar SKIN priorities are perfectly backwards even within the non-playable bloodline SKINs subset.
- What the **** is Valimor? What the **** does Trondahar mean?
- Who the **** wants an Inner Zone Shipping SKIN?
- Does CCP have any idea how many massive piles of cash they could make if only they sold SKINs that change the little logo on the ship to a different faction's? e.g. SKINs that let you replace the Amarr Empire logo on your Abaddon with a Minmatar Republic logo, or the Gallente Federation logo on your Vexor with a Caldari State logo.

CCP has no business sense and keep listening to the wrong people, this should not come as a surprise.

I know the feeling.. I fly around in a typhoon.. and the colour options for that is just baaad. the classic "rust", then the other options are
Dark poo Grey/yellow Grey/blue Silver/blue
yaaaaaaa... would suck to get a Nefantar skin for the typhoon.. or any other minmatar option.. compared to the colourblind/limited SAME colour skin options..
I have no real clue why they choose these mondane pattens with even more boring colours..
And the only semi good looking typhoon skin is a tournament that has the price of a half liver.. |

Not true. Panthers have a permanent Thukker skin. I love looking at it in the fitting screen while it's cloaked.
To the OP: CCP wanted to make their Chinese customers feel like special snowflakes. Isn't that nice? Why would you want to spoil that? |

CCP really needs to take a look at the low quality and lack of ship skins available. There is SO much potential for great looking ship paint schemes that people will be MORE than willing to pay for. That being said there are a few great options. |

I don't know how much money they can make, but yes my faction logo on my ship regardless what type it is would be great. The next step here would be the logo of your corporation or alliance. Not to mention your own corp skin theme.

Those skins have a massive performance impact on client and server, hence CCP said they aren't going to enable those on TQ. The Serenity guys said they don't care about it and as such got those skins.
- Just repeating what I remember CCP Darwin said to this.
