Depends on what your goal is.
If the bandwaggon comes out on top and controls most of 0.0, I see a new resistance forming. Goons and friends will have a hard time to keep the bandwaggon alive without BoB as a target, but the players, who are opposing that bandwaggon, will still be there and reorganize. Then they'll start to grep 0.0 again.
I'm sure, if that happens, it's gonna be a lot of fun. Don't like defending much, have done enough of that in the last year. Currently I'm occupied with other things, but I'll surely join the fun, when Goon's enemies unite again, start at zero and try to free the territory that Goons&friends just conquered. Old well equipped players rampaging in hostile regions and capturing territory back. Can only be fun ... at least on the attacking side.

Unless there's more to it than what you quoted, you were offered a chance to be neutral, which isn't quite the same thing that sticking a knife in Bob's back. I've noticed this several times. Every time someone in a forum uses the acronym for Band of Developers it gets replaced with this lameness: "BoB - Fixed for you hutch".
So ccp - what's the deal here? Instead of coding improvements into the game, getting a better forum, or writing content you spent time (and cpu cycles) writing code to search the forums for lamesauce so you can put lamesauce on it?
Oh I don't know - why don't you guys do something useful like play the cool game you made instead of doing things that just make you look lame.

"Hey guys, let's join the massive blob of exploiters and logoffskis. It'll be easier for us because we really are too insignificant to make any of our own choices and actions. Let's be on the team that appears to be winning so that we don't actually have to risk anything or stand up for any ideals that we feel to be true. Let's join the majority blob and way of thinking so that we can still make tons of ISK and just do what they tell us is right."
So who is the scared petslave? BoB has never taken me for a walk, fed me or taken me for a grooming. I am a free man, there is no slavery here. "Fight to the death" means that I would rather lose everything except my dignity instead of being another guy who rolls over at the slightest threat of loss.
And what am I losing really? The rights to exist/rat/mine/dock in PMV? Some ships and mods and items? Oh noes, what a tragedy considering there's 1000's of other systems in the game waiting for those would claim them. Is it really all that precious?
No. What is precious is knowing that you have the spine to defy the disillusioned majority. Maybe RAGoon will succeed in their quest of burning Eden into an unplayable, unenjoyable logoff/exploited/lagfest. Count me out. I fight with those who would rather manifest the aspects of the game that are enjoyable and rewarding. So yes, Honor goes a long way..

My favorite kind of offer is the one that comes from the completely random members of corps. Ie: some noob corp BE alt (that had just logoffski'd a bubble camp) says in local: If you stop fighting you can keep your space. Yes we know he is in BE because he was flying a dictor in their gang.
I mean seriously, if random members are offering nonsense to get people to stop fighting, what does that say about the cohesiveness of the coalition? Hes making rediculous offers that he has no power to enfore or guarentee without even finding out if he is talking to someone with any authority. They are obviously at the point where they've realized the "pets" are not scared or intimidated and plan on shooting back at them.
In all seriousness, if someone from GOONSWARM offers to "let you keep your space" you may want to ask how they plan on enforcing that agreement when anyone else decides to come and take it. If the answer is "oh yeah we'll come defend you", i suggest strongly that you take a deep breath, lol @ them, and continue with the poddins.
Oh btw - I'd rather be called a pet than be allied with goonswarm any day of the week. Shouldn't you guys be off making fun of someone's personal tragedy or something?

There's no need to get all bothered and righteous about this. GONAD is not a very prominent alliance, and moreover doesn't have a history of picking fights or flaunting its PvP skills. As such, it was completely within reason to offer GONAD a peaceful surrender.
Had such an offer not been made, there are plenty of entities in EVE who, in GONAD's position, would have complained loudly that we, the heartless aggressors, were ruining the fun of the game for some innocent carebear bystanders.
Thank you for demonstrating that the such is not the case. Clearly you say are here to fight. Let's settle the rest in-game.

Thank you and Gil for reasonable replies. DS-1 is not some no name entity offering us a surrender they are the original builders of PMV-G6 station. We are not a prominent alliance or a very large one(but we are mentioned on the goons map ). We live in feyth. We like feyth. We like the friends we have made in feyth. We will fight for feyth. Good luck to all and lets get to the pew pew.

I would wager that after a bunch of small groups go watch 300 the movie this weekend they'll be more than ready to fight to the death.
Death is a joke anyway. Even if the coalition does conquer delve you haven't beaten anything until you break there spirit, which works both ways. Which is still the true objective in any alliance war. Make then quit, because clones are cheap and ships plentiful.

  To the death
I am curious about that. Why do you want to fight to death if you could stay there peacefully? What do you gain from fighting there?
Fear maybe? But that makes no sense, BoB is not at all in a condition to whip you into shape if you don't obey them.
Loyality then? But where was loyality in the first place when ASCN went to pieces? That makes no sense either.
Profit then? But fighting this fight sounds quite unprofitable to me. And aren't you paying rent to BoB also for the place? What for if there is war.
Honour it is then? Hmm, yes, it is not that honourable to be a bob pet I think.
Pew pew? That I doubt because why did you go to this place first if it was not for a save place under the protecting hand of BoB so that no one can harm you.
All in all, I am out of clues. I would be delighted if you (or any other in the former ASCN space) could enlighten me why you are aligning that strongly with BoB. Thanks.
You people have demonized Bob so much you can't imagine why anyone would stay with them? The reason why the renters stay to fight should be pretty clear to you, but your self-serving propoganda will blind you from your answer
