Is it easier to train all the scanning skills to hunt down mtu's for a noob toon or is it faster to make a combat toon to blow them up when I find them? I have a toon now that has like 5.5 mil in deiiferent skills but I also want to make a new toon but dont know which will be quicker to raise. Thanks...
P.S. on my older toon I do have some scanning and combat skills allocated on him already. Thanks... |

t3 destroyers have a bonus that reduces the fitting requirements on the combat probe launcher, thats probably your best bet if you are working off 1 account

Seeing the term "toon" rather than "character" used by EvE players who have been in New Eden long enough to get 5.5 mil skill points (and many longer) makes me a bit of a sad. Maybe I'm just being a horse's rear, don't know...

"Toon " is a wow term. Eve players strongly dislike any reference to anything WoW. We use " main" and "alt" for both our characters and our personalities.

I'd just go with the main character since it's already got a good start with some trained skills.
You should have no problem after training up the Core Fitting Skills as well as defensive, offensive, specific ship and scanning skills.

Or is it possible to do this on one toon? Which is what I would prefer lol. Limited funds lmao.

If you just want to know which set of skills is less training time then Evemon will tell you that. If you are trying to figure out which would get you to making more isk faster or some other goal that I am not getting from this post then IDK. |

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

If you want to go hunting MTUs I suggest reading the mtu hunter blog by Pix Severus.
It contains a thorough guide going through all the details.
