Investment opportunity
Hypherians Capital Productions
As some of you may or may not know the Hypherians is a small but prospering industrial corporation, and has for the last year or so provided Battleships in large quantities for the northern market.
Now we are looking to expand our business in to the Capital Ships segment of the manufacturing sphere. For this purpose we have created the Hypherians Capital Productions corporation.
The general idea is to keep the two production lines separate, and where the Hypherians is a strictly private corporation the Hypherians Capital Productions will be a publicly owned corporation.
Now, for all of you looking for a short term high profit investment now is a good time to stop reading. However, are you interested in a long term investment, with an ISK-back guarantee keep on reading.
Here's the deal:
Hypherians Capital Productions will raise a total of 30b to purchase the needed blueprints + starting capital to manufacture Capital ships, and cover the cost of a research POS to research named blueprints.
The Hypherians will invest 50% of the needed ISK to make sure the corp stays on its set course. Hypherians reserve the right to sell its shares at stage 5 (see below)
50% of the company will be sold to investors to raise the additional ~15b ISK
Once production of capital ships has started 100% of the profits will be paid out via dividends to the shareholders. At the first shareholders meeting this percentage might change, depending on the shareholders wishes.
You are free to exchange your shares for your original investment back at any point. These shares will then be resold.
Wait what? You said ISK-back guarantee?
Yes. As the major part of the investments will go towards purchasing BPO's almost no ISK will be lost. If the company at some point will be closed for some reason a sale of the BPO's will guarantee the return of the original investment. With good luck even a forced sale of the BPO's will generate some profits due to the researched ME on them. More on this later.
The practical production stuff:
My alt Daladar Sinfein will be the only character in the corp. This way the Hypherians Capital Productions can be kept clean of unwanted elements. Daladar is a perfect builder / refiner / freighterpilot. He also has sufficient trade skills to sell the Capital ships without too much hassle. I will also be available to help with the building, and transport of minerals.
The Hypherians will set up the research POS needed to research the blueprints. I will research the BPO's and pass them on to Daladar, who will be the capital ship producer.
As soon as all BPO's has been researched to an acceptable ME-level production will start. Estimated timeframe for this is 3-5 months. As soon as the first ship has been sold dividends will be paid out. After that dividends will be paid on a montly basis.
Now that you are ready to invest:
This venture will be divided in five phases.
1: Raising funds 2: Purchasing and researching BPO's 3: Production start 4: First Shareholders meeting 5: Free exchange of all Hypherians Capital Production shares

Edited by: Cainam on 14/03/2007 20:07:50 Phase 1:
3000 shares has been created. 1501 of these has been transferred to the Hypherians.
1499 Shares will be sold to the public.
Shares will be sold at 10m ISK per share This is also what you get back if you at some point decide to pull out
If less then 10b is raised by 2007-04-10 all investments will be returned. If 10,1 - 14,9b is raised by 2007-04-10 the project will move on to the second phase
In this phase all investors that want to pull out get their ISK back within 48h
Phase 2:
The purchase of BPO's and researching of named BPO's
If 10,1 - 14,9b has been raised the rest of the shares will be sold during this period. If no one buys these shares the Hypherians will increase it's investment to compensate.
Investors that want to pull out in this phase might have to wait a little while for their isk back, depending on the size of the investment. This due to the possibility that a sale of one or more BPO's might be necessary to provide the ISK.
If a BPO sale is necessary in this phase, and the stocks are not re-sold within 1 week all investors will be informed of the situation and a collective decision will be taken of how to proceed.
Phase 3:
Production and sale of our first capital ship will be celebrated by a instant payout of the profit to the shareholders. In case there's any ISK left over from the investment round that will not be needed for mineral purchase or other related costs these will also be paid back at this time. From this point production will proceed 23/7
If an investor wants to pull out in this stage, Hypherians Capital Productions will buy the shares from the investor in a manner that allows the corporation to survive.
Phase 4:
The first shareholders meeting will take place 1 month after the first sale of a capital ship. At this meeting all shareholders have the right to voice an opinion on how the company will be run. A preliminary agenda will be set at the end of phase 3. An example of questions that will be raised is; If the policy to pay out 100% of the profits is viable and wanted. If the company will expand its market in to super-capital ships. If the company will create more shares to increase investments ...and so on.
After this a shareholders meeting scheduled once per month.
Phase 5
Phase 5 will be the marker stone that makes Hypherians Capital Productions a really intresting venture. In phase 5 Hypherians will start selling off part of it's shares and thereby making Hypherians Capital Productions a truly publicly owned company. The intention is that phase 5 will start as soon as all initial investments are returned. However, implementation of phase 5 will be decided at a shareholders meeting, if shareholders oppose it, the project will stay at phase 4
So when can I expect a profit out of this?
The first goal is to produce at least 3-4 capital ships per week on average. The profit per ship is around 300-450m depending on market status, and which ship built, thus weekly profits would be around 1b at a very minimum.
Initial investment repaid after 25-35 weeks and after that is all profit.
Now, understand that this type of long term commitment isn't always what you are looking for, however stand assured that anything that promises a "quick buck" usually is to good to be true.
Ok! IĈm ready to invest
Shares are sold by Daladar Sinfein and all payments should be made to him. Make sure you write something like "buying xxx shares" in the ISK-transfer
Shares are 10m a piece and you may buy as many as you like.
If you have any further questions, feel free to contact Daladar Sinfein. (My inbox is full enough as it is, so please direct your questions to him)

The Hypherians will stay a strictly privately owned corp.

Making ISK, sure, and I did consider investing. However, the whole 1-man alt corp seems a little risky. I know nothing about your existing corp, so this might just be because of my lack of background on it. No offense intended. __________ The opinion(s) expressed above are mine alone and are not necessarily endorsed or supported by my Corporation. |

I'm interested, but I'm with the guy above me. I know nothing about the original corp, you, etc. Not sure how trusting I ought to be.

A nice proposal unfortunatley you're about a year too late imho. The capital ship market is saturated at the moment and profit margins are dropping. Now a 30b investment into T2 would tempt me.
Best of luck anyways.

Edited by: Cainam on 19/03/2007 12:16:33 Lookie! Some replies! Now, let's see if I can answer to your satisfaction.
Lets start with the one man alt corp dealie:
The main reason for this is because I thought that it would make You - my potential investors, feel more secure. I have posted this with my main, and my "main"-alt thus if this had been a scam I would have destroyed my reputation, and my current trade-partners would most certainly make my life a living hell.
My reasoning behind the one man corp is that IF something would go wrong, You would know who to talk to. No chance for anyone to shift the blame around as I have seen so many times before.
If it would make you feel more comfortable we could open the corp for investor's alts.
About the Capital ship market
Now, I'm aware of that the prices has been on the fall for a couple of months. However, Its my estimation that we have hit the level-out point. Prices will stabilize and the capital ship market will look more and more as the battleship market.
It is not as profitable to sell carriers and dreads now as it was a year ago when they were new in the game, and it shouldn't be, but we must remember that more and more players move in to capital ships by the day. And as these ships become more common the turnover on these ships also become greater. When carriers were new in the game you rarely saw a carrier killmail. Today I see one almost every day.
Now I hope that this answers some of your questions, and should you have more, feel free to send Daladar a mail, of make a post here.

Hi.
You might want to start a linked thread in here, as that is where most corporations that want to publicly raise capital post.
Be prepared for some serious, aggressive, questioning.
You might also want to increase the amount of shares so each has a lower price.

What is to stop you from running off with 14,990,000,000isk? That'd buy quite a nice character...
What have you done to work up the capital you will be putting into this venture?

1-man corps is always hard to pull off these types of investments unless your character/corp has some sort of reputation, and imo 10M for a share is quite risky as said in other posts, you could just run of with the ISK, may I suggest you make 10 times as many shares and drop the price 10 times (1M/share) that way I would imagine investors may have an easier way of investing maybe only like 2M instead of 20M since probably most could lose 2M if this turns out as a scam.
Good luck with the investments.
Help me help you. |
