Because, how somone behaves online is a great indicator of what type of person they are in RL. Somone who acts like an a**hat in a game but is nice in RL is the worst form of hippocrite, as they only act like they really feel when there are no repercusions for their actions.

So if you are asking me if somone was an ass in game, would I beat em up in RL. Probably. So far I havnt seen too many I would call a**hole's here, just some folks abusing a system.

Steel Tigeress is absolutely correct. PA may be flooding this thread with hysterical, hooting fools, but they're playing at Straw Man defence. The point, which I absolutely agree with, is that PA is essentially a vehicle for people to ruin other people's game experiences, and while it's easy to be an ******** in games, that's NOT AN EXCUSE.

Yes, I'm a noob. I pay the same money as you, per month, so you can bite me if you think I give a damn about anyone else's ideas of what this game should be. Here's the thing - in RL, I'm a professional poker player. I sit, in my house, all day, staring at online poker tables. It is unimaginably boring. I play Eve for variety - it's a different kind of grinding.

Now, excuse me if I don't agree that Eve is all about PVP. I'm an old Elite player, and I like a bit of hauling. Eve's point-click-yawn combat (versus NPC rats) does nothing for me. It's dull. Is it going to be significantly less dull against humans? Doubtful. And if Eve is all about PVP, why does it have so many alternate career paths? Why is it not just a straightforward space combat game? Eve's strength, to my eyes, is it's staggeringly impressive economy, not the opportunity to get shot at indiscriminately by PA.

So, as I understand it, my choices are - haul solo, or join a corp, and risk getting harrassed by over-compensating jerkoffs who can't be bothered to fight people who WANT to fight, and instead get their jollies from harrassing those who DON'T want to fight, and often are incapable of defending themselves. And that's what makes you guys ********s. Deal with it. Embrace your inner ********. Stop being so defensive; your entire raison d'etre is shooting at people who are incapable of fighting back. If you can't admit that makes you an ********, then you should probably see a psychiatrist. I make my living profiting from people's mental weaknesses, and I'm a pretty damn good judge of these things. You guys are delusional.

If you're going to give out grief, try learning how to take it. I wouldn't mind the PA if they weren't so goddamned defensive.
