Last night, and this morning, travelling all over the low sec around Enderailen (to Tannolen, to Oto, and other spots), and it was quiet.
Very quiet. No wrecks, no gankers, no nothing.
Had a convo with a BS pilot who was just hanging out at a gate - asked him what was up, and he said, "I'm reading eve-online".
So, what's all the talk about it being a dangerous place?
Saw very few haulers - and no pirates to speak of.

I'm guessing since it was patch day and there were a number of issues not many people were "pushing the envelope" (so to speak) and were trying to settle in to the changes and cope with the bugs before doing anything remotely risky.
I know when I logged on last night there were fewer people signed on than I had seen in a long time (like 15,000...can hardly remember seeing it below 20,000).

The first thing i do after a patch day is to familiarise myself with the new bugs. I guess many people are like me. Not much time to pirate then

I know, I was cruising through Sisede last night on a mission and I was the only person in Local. A bit weird considering how many people are usually in the 0.3 systems. - "The childrens are so much crunchier if you suck all the meat off the outside first!" -Crinos, The Chosen of Chaos |

It's not as populated as it used to be. Ami has lots of people if your looking to die though.

No clue in what region your flying because I've only ever flown in 1 low-sec region and thats Domain , the reason being it's always so full , and lastnight was no different - If it's usually busy where you are it probably is because of the patch like others have said.
And slightly OT but how cool was it having no local list , just the sense of danger made it very interesting even if I got my first kill after it was fixed which is kinda ironic.

tbh local isn't that dangerous. i feel safe in low sec than i do in high sec
the thing is one day u'll come across a gatecamp, or get jumped at a belt etc and u'll tell someone about it, or someone will see it happening in channel and think ooooo low sec gets u killed, and the message spreads. follow a few guidelines and local sec can be pretty safe.

Killed a mission raven in Hysera and a pilgrim jumped me in Has which ended up in my favor :P. It is quite empty, but maybe you're not looking hard enough ;). Corp has seen 2 deimos dead in that little lowsec belt of systems we like to call home.
