Has something been changed recently that makes our ships change direction when we rotate the camera? I seem to have a strange issue where rotating the camera on any of my clients causes them to start flying off into space rather than approaching, orbiting, keeping at range or whatever it is they were doing. Is this just a me thing?

In all honesty, it's probably an issue with your mouse. Either a sensitivity issue in the double click settings, or a physical issue with the switch under that button.
Eve is like an addiction; you can't quit it until it quits you.

I should hope not, it's relatively new and not had problems elsewhere.Weirdly though it's quite easily repeatable, no matter how delicately I do it. I change camera angle and the ship seems to fly towards the camera. Thinking about it, if it was picking up a double click, it would fly the other way.

Is this different from the detachable penis camera that has been a problem for months? If I touch right-click it tends to freeze the camera (by detaching it from the ship) and the resulting effect is the ship floating off into space.

I have been having the same problem for a while now. It usually happens when an enemy fleet warps in. My ship seems to fly away from the battle and warp off on its own, despite my vocal protests on ts that I am engaging target....

i had this issue with 2 Gaming Mice. A Logitech G300 and a Razer Deathadder.
Holding Down the Mousebuttons generated doubleclicks.
It was a the Microcontroller under the Mousebutton that was kinda "broken" out of the Plate. ( opened the Mouse )
You can test this, just go to your Windows Desktop, hold the Mousebutton and Drag the Box around, see if it dissapears, which it should not as long as you hold the Mouse.

I too have suffered from this. Not sure why.
I'm going to build a big wall that will keep the Gallente out, and they're going to pay for it!

NVidia Experience has been linked to causing miss-clicks with both mouse and keyboards, where on occasion commands with said controls would sometimes fail to register. Might try killing Experience and seeing if that helps. Also, would try disabling any mouse/keyboard software before launching Eve, so as to eliminate software issues as a possibility.
