Hey,
Topic is : Add to Mobile Warp Disruptor & similar devices the ability to choose the kind of ships that the field will "stop" according to ship types or friends / foes statuses, and so on.
Let's say you put one of them at a gate of your system but does not want it to prevent your corp's mate to go through, only foes. Or you want to catch only a certain kind of ships and not the other ones. Or a combination of both Etc.
Any thoughts about this would be greatly appreciated as I may not see all the pros and cons of such game mechanics implementation and use in the game.

So your idea is to eliminate any and every tactical tradeoff that currently exists for warp bubbles?
Yeah, not going to happen. No, you do not get to cover every gate in your area with bubbles that conveniently don't affect you so you can krab in peace.

No, you cannot cover the gates to your ratting hubs with three hundred bubbles that only affect reds and let you warp your fifty hulk mining fleet or whatever you use around with no trouble at all. |

Also, I think I'm going to research a possible correlation between horrible ideas and and that stupid pupil-less eye option.

Thanks for you "so narrow" view comments ...
I am not using bubbles on gates like many and this is definitely not for this purpose I was putting the question on the table.
I am disappointed to see that such experience players, as you claim to be through your comments, do not see the possible interest for any other kind of game play.
I guess such brilliant minds as yours will finally, after some long time unfortunately, find some.

Just because you would not use them in that fashion does not mean that they would not be used that way. Part of the F&I discussion is for other players to try and brake the idea before it would considered by the devs, and this idea can be broken very easily.
If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Any change made to the game affects everyone and their tactics, for better or worse.

You have merely posted an idea that, essentially, removes one of the few penalties with Warp Disruption Bubbles (that they affect everyone, friend or foe, equally).
How did you Veterans start?

Does this require further comment?

Before posting an idea, try and think of any ways it could be abused or exploited. If it can be, it will be.

None of us is making that claim. We do not need to since you can find out very quickly that we were here long enough that such claims would be redundant.

Eve Minions is recruiting. Learn from about pvp, learn about ships and how to fly them.

NO it would make it extremely unfair for the victims vs the bubble owners
the bubble is area of effect for all players and should stay that way. |

It's not so much a matter of "fairness" as it is that it makes bubbling EVERYTHING so obviously a correct tactical choice 100% of the time, which is fundamentally horseshit game play.
If you DIDN'T bubble every station, gate, celestial, POS, etc. in your territory, you would be nothing short of an irretrievable moron.
