y cnat we use mwd in missions, it makes me so mad, when u have autocannons on and u need to get to osmehting 30km away that flys away from you at only like 10m/s slower than you, it takes FOREVER to get to them,, and its just soo time consuming. i want a logical repsonse at to why we cnat use mwd in missions

Is this whine supposed to be written in English? Because, wow.
Missions are supposed to take a significant amount of time to beat. Letting people use MWDs would eliminate this time sink.

well i mean, i have 5 cruisers to take care of, and for me to even be able to shoot 1 down takes my like 5 mins to get to, and its crazy, too much of a time sink if u ask me

Cause if you could use mwd, you could mwd between deadspace pockets and break the game mechanics.
Deal with it, the rats can't mwd anymore either, so you have no real grounds for complaint.

Been asked before and here are the reasons:
1) People would send in an interceptor (or something fast) to draw aggro and then speedtank everthing there. Main would come in and just have fun shooting things with little to no risk.
2) The different "rooms" in a multi-stage mission are only about 10,000 km apart. Rather than kill whatever in the first few rooms people would just drive to the next room in a fast ship.
The sad part is this all just makes Caldari even more the best choice for missioning. Got a blaster ship? Pulse laser ship? Autocannon ship? Expect to drive around a lot. I have heavy pulse on my Absolution so its range is in the 10-20km ballpark and have to chase crap down all the time (everything runs from me). Had a battleship that liked to engage me from 50km and ran when I closed. By the time I caught up to him he was 100km from anything then I had to drive back. Once even chased a guy till I went off grid...borked the mission and a Dev had to reset the whole thing (essentially losing all the work I had done to that point).
Blame game mechanics.

Spider drones still go @ 8 km/sec, m8... I WISH rats didn't use MWD, or if they did their sig radius increased... but they do, and it doesn't

My only gripe with mwd and missions is that rats use mwd's at afterburner speeds while suffering from the sig increase which is retarded. The developers solution being to add MORE rats especially frigs to compensate for said sig increase, screwing over missions and moving them away from any sort of pvp resemblance.

Their sig radius does increase, and all other ship-shaped rats no longer have mwd, they slowboat in at 300-500m/s with an 'afterburner'.

Its a reasonable question. with a easy answer CCP needs nerfed. lol
Seriously Unless your Rolling your now standard issue Raven, mwd is almost a must have. all guns have very select ranges they work at and without mad sp you cant even scratch the rats. ab/speed mods will help keep you in range for a extra salvo or two. Blasters or autocannons? forget about it. I was a Mega Pilot when they added this "Feature" to the game (many moons and patches ago). without the mwd my blasters were worthless (in missions hehehe) Rails worked but did way less damage and about the time you got a bs to half armor/hull he would get outta range and you would have to start on a new target. My Type-R Thorax was reduced to PvP only. So if you wanna run a Mission? Raven/Drake/Nighthawk is the way to go unless your willing to spend all that extra time chasing down the rats that only recently lost their mwd in deadspace. Guns = Fun but its missles that get the job done in the mission bump and grind Stay Chilly & Watch Your Six!
