Excellent fight this evening. D2 really brought it.
The initial encounter at the stargate had my heart pounding hard enough for the rest of my pod to shake. Was sitting there in my Megathron just WAITING to be called primary by a much larger BS fleet. One of the best 2+ hours of Eve I've had in a long time.

Please, Ladies and Gentlemen, Let's not derail this thread into a fitting or whatnot discussion. He provided footage which is appreciated. We should leave it with that. If you'd like to teach him, I think he will apreciate a convo of you and some explanations :)

Thank you very much for the footage m8. Would have been a better fight for me if i hadn't lagged out my BS on the first attack outside the POS...nicely done to the hostile support getting and keeping the tackle on me...i'll get you next time grrr...:)
Not absolutly positive but i think i was the only MC BS loss...oh the shame, oh the shame! i feel like a moron, doh. GF again to all!

Hehe I think that was my fighter you had locked most of the movie, kept having to remote rep them while they chased after your BSes :) Very entertaining battle, kept expecting to get doomsday'ed when Tom was doing his "drive by doomsday" attempts. Nothing like hearing "hostile cyno!" over TS, then "Tom McCash is in system" only to finally hear, "wtf, he's gone again?" a few seconds later. :P
Edit: The only one who got a close up look at the titan afaik was Neurotic Cat in his Nyx when he ate the doomsday. Can confirm he never took structure damage as well, as I was remote shield repping him shortly after that.
Sure, bring a knife to a gunfight. |

The battle just shows that Motherships are in and of themselves targets to be hunted down and delt with just like a POS. Whether that is done through a trap (like pretending to attack a POS) or to make sure you have enough of your own Motherships to mitigate their ability.
MC is proving that having multiple MS can indeed be as effective if not clearly more effective than a Titan.
The fact they had one in the cooker when it was blown up proves how they value them in combat. Imagine 10 Motherships or even 15.
Lets see how such battles shape production lines in all the various super capital capable alliances.

Thanks for the fight. It was a nice evening (in middle europe) with you guys.
I'm only sad that fighters don't produce a killmail. It was a two hour long "Target Fighter -> pewpew -> Target Fighter -> pewpew ..." So I was able to get on no killmail in this epic fight :/
See you soon, new neighbors and it was fun to fly with a 100 pilot FADE-Residents gang

GF everyone, this was a real tough one for both sides due to the amount of lag experienced. I know players that have never experienced lag at all where locked up for minutes at a time! Just glad it was the same for both sides.
I dont think P-2 has ever experienced what it saw last night!
May the war rage on!!!!!!

Good fight guys. Thanks for the clean and insane battle we had last night.
Respect to CORE. and all 60 fighters. When we undocked and lost about 15 (bs/bc) ships the majority of us just went to HQ take another ship and come back. Epic fight. Hope to see ya soon.

Dangit! I missed it all. I was in the initial Core fleet that docked at p-2 and then I had to go away all day only to come back after the big fight in a hostile station! ---
