you could sell it? I only have 120m isk at the moment, but if you post something in the WTS channel you should have someone take a bite at it for several billion isk. ------------- Hadean Drive Yards The EvE inflation, 80 Macro miners, 1.5b isk/day |

Depends on the BPO. If it's profitable, build from it. If you're too lazy to do that, hand it over to NAGA, and they'll build from it and you'll receive a part of the profits without having to do ANYTHING.
You could also sell it if you prefer to have some ISK right away.
I could give you more tips, but I'd need to know which BPO you won... _______________

Not a spectacular BPO, but a decent one, and one that doesn't really receive much heat from inventors.
With the correct setup you can probably build more than you can sell :) Which is the case with nearly all my T2 BPOs.
You can probably sell it for around 2-5 billion, or you can earn around 500 mil a month from building these. You'll have to train some skills to that, and you want to get a few rounds of ME/PE research while you are training up. You have at least some of the skills already since you could hire a R&D agent, and you'll have to aquire quite a bit of materials to be able to build it at a pace that will earn you 500mil a month.
Good luck with it

I really doubt you'll make 2-5 billion on that BPO. Prices for all T2 BPO's are plummeting these days. Every day prices drop a few more % it seems. Some are dropping by hundreds of millions per day. So take that for what it's worth... but your BPO will likely be worth less tomorrow than it is today.

Prices are dropping in general, but unless its an ammo BPO the "floor" is around 2-3 billion.

425mm II is a good one to have, as someoen said, its not a huge demand one (like say the 220MM II) but its demand has gone up slightly with the hurricane being released and the general boost of battlecruisers, so decent money can be made. I recommend you start building. :) Good luck.

He said the dual 425mm, though, which is the BS version. Handy for really heavy tanks, but not so popular otherwise.
You're looking at around 10-30 mill per week from that, not counting labour.

Edited by: Jacque Custeau on 03/04/2007 12:43:08 The dual 425mm II makes it easy to fit a decent tank. If I were in your shoes, I would produce them. Sure invention is here, but regardless of what you heard its still a hassle. Like someone mentioned, this bpo does not get a lot of heat from investors. There is also no accounting for the future. If the playerbase grows you could see more demand for this item in the long run. When t2 drones were released, there was minimal demand for light drones and it was really hard to make money off of them. But a few months passed, more people joined eve, people trained up...etc and the bpo now makes roughly 8X the amount it made 2 years ago.
That being said, if you are looking to sell, drop me an eve mail. ------------------- |

Another thing I'd do is immediately make 50 or 100 copies at 999 or 9999 (whatever the max is) runs a piece.
The upcoming T2 lottery disappearance may be coupled with all t2 BPO's being either removed or transitioned into BPC's. I'd prepare for this now, by making high run copies of all T2 BPO's.

Edited by: Christopher Dalran on 03/04/2007 14:45:08 Its far too early to know what is going to happen to the prices of T2 BPO's, invention has several issues but in general its fairly easy to invent t2 module bpc's. For whatever reason it is the ship invention jobs that tend to chain fail and yield a low number of run when they actually do succed (probably due to the fact that only the t1 version can be used instead of a good named like for modules).
I'm expecting that t2 bpo holders will soon be unable to sell their BPO's because nobody is going to want to pay the prices people ask requiring them to buld for almoast a year when they can be invented.
Here is my advice to you.
Sell your BPO immediatly for as much as you can get for it, The lottery still has not been canceled for good (it will be removed) so alot of people still are holding on to their RP's in hopes of winning something. Once the lottery is gone for good people will start cashing in their RP's and Data cores will be available in good supply for reasonable prices. This will cause Invention jobs to become much easier further lowering the prices of T2 modules.
Your BPO is going to become MUCH less valuable very soon.
Look at what has happened to Hulks, You can easily get one for about 350mill or less now (unless you buy of the market, resellers are keeping the market price high). Would have sucked for anyone that just bought a Hulk BPO. ------------------------------- C.D's Formula for success ------------------------------- Credit Card = Game Time Card Gametime Card = ISK Therefore Credit Card = ISK.

Chiming in again...
Like I said, your BPO is worth a few bil. Not that much as far as T2 BPOs go, but a fair chunk of change.
The T2 BPOs that are losing their luster are the ones that invention is taking a bite out of--the Cap recharger IIs, the hulks, the covert ops cloak, etc. And the reason for that is the insane profit levels that these BPOs were producing are no longer as viable.
BPOs for items that have significantly less markup (like the dual 425) are much more stable in price, since they never got the huge bubble effect in the first place.
Unless some dev is being a chatty cathy to certain alliances/corps/individuals, no one knows exactly what is going to happen to T2 BPOs. They may stay in game to provide a steady supply of T2 items, they may get converted to max or insane-run BPCs. I think even the Devs are still speculating on them. In any event, with the T2 Lottery still going on it will be at least a few months after it finishes before anything happens to prevent sour grapes (congrats, you won a T2 BPO! Now give it back.)
Might as well toss this in: If you aren't sure what to do with it or lack the skills/infrastructure to produce it, give me a convo/evemail--we can produce it for you for cost plus a nominal profit percentage. ----------------------------------------------- Adm Vladimir Tinakin CFO Hadean Drive Yards |
