I was wondering if there were any modules/skills that make me immune to warp disruption, or at least reduce the odds of me staying disrupted. Got jumped by 3 BS and 3 BC, while I was in my little Thorax, and couldn't jump, as I was disrupted. Thanks for any info. |

I don't think so, best you can do is get a microwarp drive. They allow you to travel very fast, but take a lot of capacitor power. So as long as you get going before they nos you, you should be fine.

Edited by: Cyberflayer on 01/04/2007 22:59:34 Warp core stabilizers are a low slot module that add one point to your warp core strength, requiring an additional disruptor to prevent you from warping. However, each WCS you fit halves your lock speed and lock range (they didn't used to, but thank goodness they do).
The best plan of escape from a gate camp nowadays is to MWD out of it, but if you get webbed, nossed, bumped, or all three, you're as good as dead. Alternative methods include killing the warp disrupting ships (they're usually frigates, so it's a possibility) or flying back to the gate in an attempt to jump through before you die.
Of course, the best defense against gate camps is to not fly into them in the first place.
Edited for clarity. ---

Shoulda been able to jump (gate) unless you aggressed them. WCS will work in some cases, but really against 3 BS and 3 BC not much is going to save you except getting back to the gate and jumping or MWDing out of disrupter range. And if you escape that make sure to post how much those 6 individuals sucked at PvP in Crime and Punishment because really... they should just cancel their accounts.

A Warp Core Stabilizer adds one point to your warp strength.
Warp disruption comes in two varieties: Warp Disruptors remove one point of warp strength, and Warp Scramblers remove two points (but have a shorter range). Countering a Warp Scrambler requires 2 WCS modules.
If you were attacked by 6 ships, and they each had 1 Warp Disruptor on you, you would have needed 6 WCS modules to escape.
So, yes and no.
