Yes but a drone tracking and range boost module would be better. Passive shield tanking guide click here |

I always have a drone tracking module (helps immensely for sentries and heavies) and one of the drone MWD increasers. There's no use having drones and no MWD booster.. Heavies, even T2s, will be -far- too slow unless you kick them up a notch.

5 omnidirectional links on a domi. Anything else would be UNCIVILIZED.

If your using the domi for fleet, swap in a target painter so others can use it too. But then again your going to be so far out you probally cant even use it then eh?

Yes.
Here's an example of what you can do with quick targeting and painting at long range. It can work very well on any well equipped drone boat. On this kill mail from last year, I was approx. 109km from the player scouting in a pod. Needless to say, they didn't know what hit em.
XXXX.XX.XX XX:XX
Victim: XXXXX Alliance: XXXXX Corp: XXXXX Destroyed: Capsule System: XXXXX Security: X.X
Involved parties:
Name: Lord Timelord (laid the final blow) Security: -3.3 Alliance: New Eden Conglomerate Corp: Orion's Forge Ship: Thanatos Weapon: Warden I
A group of Dommie's equipped with sensor boosters, painters, and sentries can make very quick work of any target. I have used sentries in both pve and pvp situations extensively.
Sentries work very well in missions when normal drones will move toward the rats and aggro the whole stage. Sentries stay put and allow you to quickly destroy the smaller ships at range before they even have a change at getting to you. And three volleying battlecruisers at range is highly entertaining! __________

Excellent, I didn't think of that. Sentry drones are brutal but as I have the skill to target paint its worth swapping out a Cap Charger for the TP.
As for MWD drive of the Hvy Drones, with drone navigation skill this improves quite effectively (although if your PVP'ing over range you'll want Nav Comps).
As for drone range augument there seems to be little point in fitting multiples, I'd go with one, and fit either guns or NoS (just to give you something to do whilst your sentrys make the rats your *****).

I prefer to mix and match both TP's and omni links, it seems to work better than only using one (same ammt of modules ). ------------------------------- C.D's Formula for success ------------------------------- Credit Card = Game Time Card Gametime Card = ISK Therefore Credit Card = ISK.
