I am in the process of procuring a water fountain, but struggling with brands of fountains. There are so many, so if you would share with me the ones you may have bought for your master/ mistress. And what you think about it, is it working fine or making so much noise that you wonder when it's going to work it self thru the floor. Or is it more a playground than a place to drink water, perhaps it's so quiet that you wonder if it's working at all..

Dog food bowl built in stainless steel, an old towel on the floor, replace with dry towel when it's too wet. Our master is the spartan type.

The divine creature that lets me live in her home, has grown finniky with age. A simple bowl isn't that sufficient anymore, drinking from the tap or when i pour water into the bowl is much better. |

Water in a bowl? My cat says nope; soapy water in the shower tray or clean water direct from a dripping tap... hell yeah.
She's a tad upset with me at the moment as I no longer work from home; shouts at me for food as soon as I come home and then turns her back on it until I'm asleep.
Civilised behaviour is knowing that violence is barbaric, but paying other people to do it is business.

I and my family are owned by three dang cats. One's got a great kind personality but loudly yells a lot, for whatever reason. When she's in the room, she has to say.
One is clinically disturbed, but for 14 years has been my autistic son's guardian cat. Who ever heard of a guardian cat? It's true, she sleeps in his room, and that's her main base HQ. She's in about any baby picture of him, either in the foreground or the background. Strange thing is she'll rub on your pants leg, but if you try to reach down to say hello too, it's freak out and claws and fangs for you. WTH? Cool cat though, in her odd way.
The third one is photo cute, fluffy, four white boots and a white tip on the tail, like that. Adorably photogenic! That thing has no soul. Only cat I've met that I actually have a dislike feeling for. Of course, that's the one that hangs around the dad and son basement hockey/football/baseball/rodeo/whatever white noise boys cave. Three cats, and that's the Cat on Keyboard one, and it only likes me of all in the house. Doting pampering Grandma just gets no thanks and snobbed. Cats, WTH.

My old master , a royal siamese cat will drink only from his stainless steel dog bowl. My new and royal highness , an alley born black and white emptress demands its water to be in human use glasses. Our lords and ladies had their ways and is not our place to judge. |

I am the proud owner to two lovely dogs Bella and Thea - and I am the humble slave of a very handsome Burmese cat named Truffles (yes named after the food - because he was expensive... and is completely useless)

Your opinion matter.. My old roomies had a water fountain for the cats, then the dog started drinking there as well. Had to expanded it. Not sure the brand, but they found the larger one on Amazon.com.
All three of the animals (2 Cats, 1 Dog) drink from it, but only one liked to play with the falling stream. Temperament of the animal.
