I really like the new 'Settings' we have in the character sheet like 'Show Untrained Skills' they really make looking for new skills an easy task, but can you bring it a little further. Seeing as you allready have two settings I'm guessing it would be realitvly easy to add more,
So can we have options to:
- Hide fully trained skills
- Sort skills in order of time to complete
- Show all trainable skills for selected item*
*This feature would launch a seprate window where you would key in and item name and then select it from the results.

i like these ideas. they have added under settings where you can "high light" partialy trained skills and list all skills. but being able to filter the list would be very nice

Indeed it would, but i would really like if they could somehow cram EVEMON into the Character sheet

i would love if they had it so that it shows skill I CAN TRAIN RIGHT NOW.
For example, if i had Minmatar Frigate 4 it would show that i could train the cruiser skill.
as well would like it if i have Minmatar frig 1 it'll show what skills that will allow me to train (like the cruiser, then once ya have that at 1, the bs, then bs1 shows the dread/carrier/titan skills)
that would make planning alot easier.

NO NO NO NO N...oh wait, youre not calling for more skills to widen the SP gap. I like you then. 
But seriously, skill filters would be great. Show trainable skills window would be sort of redundant though, considering you can already get this by looking at the item in question's skills tab.

the idea is to alow you to have a "quick view". sure you could go the long way and dig through each and every skill or sit at a market and sift through the 44 some odd skills in some of the groups looking for that one you need but cant remember the name of it.
the idea is to pull up your character sheet and "quickly" find that one you need or allow you to plan easyer with out the need of a 3rd party program such as evemon or quickfit.

Yep you summed my entire idea up in two words "quick view" there is so many things to do in eve and never enough time in the day to do it. I believe anything that makes our IG lives a little easier is a positive.
